Tap at the pub. Pours a lightly hazy copper orange color. Light head. Aroma is light, some hops and bitterness on the nose. Flavor is dry hops, banana sweetness, and hop bitterness on the finish. Not bad.

Hazy light amber. Light and fruity with some light malt. Earthy and lightly citrusy, with some phenols. The finish is a little funky.

Draft at the brewpub. Has a nice warm golden haze with thin but even lacing. The Amarillo hops are not yet coming through probably because of how cold the beer is. But the flavors finish with a lovely honey character that is intriguing. Smells very resinous. Tastes so too. Some lemon zest. And Starbucks level pastry crust. OK but where’s the Amarillo?

My first beer tasted in New Mexico while on a trip with my Brother and Sister in law. This is a Taos Brew pup with excellent food and average beer. This was a10 oz glass with a good head and lacing. Nose was a little a yeasty. Bitterness was present at the nose and finish. The Mesa Ale had an acidic finish

Aubrey (3193) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - JUN 26, 2008
Creamy texture and light-to-medium body made it easy to drink. Cloudy amber-orange hue with its foamy head made it look appealing. Surprisingly malty, with elements of caramel, bread and earth. A balanced bitterness followed. Overall, it was a decent drinker, but it was a bit too mainstream and unexciting.

Draught. Pours amber with an edgy rocky tan head. Fruity hop perfumey aroma with caramel malt notes. Sweet fruit hop and caramel malt flavor with yeast notes. Medium bodied and thin clean palate.

On-tap at the brewpub: Clear gold color, thin whitish head, some spotty lace. Smell is way off, strongly sitting alcoholic waft with mixed buttery nuts and wet cloth sit on top of some slightly fruity malt tones. Flavors are flat and laced habbadashery with alcoholic warmth that doesn’t sit well anywhere on the palate. Some slight fruit tones and hop bitterness make it in, but its quite tasteless and has a very booze filled sense that just doesn’t sit well. Feel is flat and fairly watery, no body what so ever really. This was one 10oz glass unfinished.
