Very nice aroma of caramel, toffee, butter and hops. Hoppy, bitter flavor with some butter. Very long and bitter aftertaste. A Frankenstein’s monster of an IPA, unbalanced and best enjoyed through the nose.

Grumligt ljusbrun, kloakvatten :) Medium skum, hade det varit lite högre hade det blivit en femma dirr på AP.
Härligt frisk aroma men ett litet inslag av en viss sötma.
Som det står på etiketten så är denna ölen välhumlad och jag blev inte besviken. Kraftig beska. Älskade den !

Torde vara 4 månader räknat på bf-datum. Har lite amerikanskt i stilen. Bra. Grapefrukt. Beska. Snygg etikett. Lagom maltsötma. Verkligen synd att dom bytte etikett.

330 ml bottle. Aroma with lots and lots of hops, grassy and herby notes dominates. Some malt character hides beneath all the hops. Tastes of grassy hops. Nice malt sweetness that turns into a hop tsunami, which sadly is very rough and not very pleasant. Pretty thin body.

Had summer of ’11, review from notes. Pour is hazy orange copper with decent white ring of head and some large bubbles. There is a light caramel sweetness and big hops, floral and perfumy with some peppery spice and a strange twang. Taste is a bit maltier, rather sweet, still perfumy with citrus notes. Body is syrupy, gentle carbonation and light bitterness in the finish.

Draught at Ölhallen Tullen.
Dry and immensely bitter with no body whatsoever. Overly attenuated and lacking in maltiness. Tropical fruits yes but the bitterness and the alcohol are way too dominant.

In short: A yeasty grapefruity blond IPA. Bitter and tart. Nice beer.
How: Bottle 330ml, consumed when almost exactly 1 year before expiration date, bottle given to me by _angst_, thanks a lot Alex.
The look: Cloudy dark blond body topped by a medium white head with medium retention.
In long: Nose is very musty, lots of grapefruits and also a cow-like farmhouse smell. Strange but not unpleasant at all, the yeast is creating some weird esters here but it’s kind of fun, smells like a ‘terroir’ ipa with some earthy farmhouse notes. Taste has nice pils-like malts, light toastiness, honey and dried fruits sweetness, doughy yeast, and a whole lot of bitter white grapefruits. Like most IPAs with focus on bitter grapefruits, this one has a razor sharp bitterness accompanied by a light acidity. A nice beer given to me in person by fellow ratebeerian _angst_, and every time I meet a new ratebeerian and we share a beer together it makes me a better person, and according to my calculation if I meet 2,184 more ratebeerians I’ll be a half-decent dude.

Draught @ Arbeg in Stockholm! Hazy yellow colour with a nice big head. Aroma is dominated of citrus, flowers, orange and sweet maltynes! Flavor had a creamy mouth feeling of citrus, sweet maltynes, orange. Medium body, and long fruity finish.

(330ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of herbs, grass, caramel, and citrus. Flavor of grass, pine, peach, florals, herbs, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.
