Pours tiny hazy golden with a frothy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is hoppy, herbal and tiny earthy with graepfruit juice, grass, lemon zest, bread, pine, straw, butterscotch, moist earth and hints of unripe pinepple and dry wood. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, tiny sour, fruity, herbal and slightly earthy with grapefruit juice, old bread, orange peal, wet grass, moist soil, uncooked green vegetables, butterscotch, dry wood, peaches, pine and mango. Mouthfeel is round, tiny oily bitter slightly astrignant and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and herbal with grapefruit rinds, moist soil, pine, lemon balm and grass. So-so…

Thanks to Per, shared summer of 2011, review from notes. Pour is orangish copper, transparent, off white head with a few larger bubbles. The nose is very sweet, a bit all over the place, loads of caramel, pine, oxidized, resinous oily hop and some phenolic spice. Taste is same, tons of sugar, syrupy and heavy. Pine and oily resin with low carbonation.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, apricots and tropical fruit. Fruity, slightly malty taste with citrus, tropical fruit, hints of caramel and a generous floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Refreshing and tasty.

Bottled. Pours cloudy yellow with a big white head. Smells synthetic sugers and hoppy. Tastes woody, dry bitter with a similar finish.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Ambery orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is sweaty socks, yeasty, herbs and earth. Flavour is fruity, herbal, toffeeish, grassy and mild bitterness. Also rather nice maltyness balancing it up in the flavour.

Slightly hazy light amber with a large head. Aroma and taste of hops, fruit, grape and some toffee. The finish was britter. An ok beer.

Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Aroma of grainy malts, some hoppy notes and hints of ripe fruits. Taste is malty and slightly hoppy with hints of fruits and grass. Finish is hoppy and bitter with some malty notes. Decent pale ale.

Om beskan någon gång tröttnar på att vara den som drar det tunga lasset i Mälarbadens Sommarale kan den utan problem få anställning som blindskrift - så utstickande och ifingretfallande är den. Mer ett soloprojekt än ett lagarbete är det här ett öl som trots en prislapp som får plånboken att muttra ger valuta för pengarna.

Pours hazy amber with a 2 finger off white head.
Pine, hops, dark citrus in both aroma and taste. Taste has some bready maltyness as well. Really like the piny hoppiness. Leaning towards medium bodied, medium carbonation.
A nice and refreshing ale!
