Draught (Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm) - Brown in colour. Hoppy aroma with pine, grapefruit and toffee detected. Tangy, fruity and hoppy taste with grapefruit, caramel and dried fruit. Fairly tasty.

(Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm, 15 Sep 2010) Reddish amber colour with huge, firm, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of black-currant, caramel and orange peel. Fruity, malty taste with black-currant, caramel and dark fruit. Solid malt backbone, rather dry, generous hoppy bitterness. Very nice and tasty.

100ml draught, one of five in a sample tray at Monk’s Porter House. Patchy surface atop of a clear, dark body with ruby highlights. Smell of grapefruit and oranges with underlying malts. Orange fruity taste supplied with toffee malts. Sharp bitter fruity ending. Soft on the swallow. Well balanced and pleasant to drink (Stockholm, 13.09.2010).

Draught at Monks Porterhouse, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a low firm off-white head. Really hoppy aroma of blond grapefruit, lemon-zest and resin. Medium-bodied with notes of red grapefruit, wet grass and mild ink. Grainy mouthfeel. Long dryish and grainy bitter finish of grass, orange-peels, red grapefruit and pine. Tasty yet a bit harsh mouthfeel.
