Sample at SMÖF 2011. It poured a hazy amber liquid. Smell of caramel and hops, some raw hoppy aromas that I relate to vegetables. Similar taste without the raw hoppy aroma. The smell was a bit off, but besides that nice.

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Shady amber, medium off-white head. Clear brett-infected rural horsestable aroma, not very pleasant, with some gooseberry hop aromas in the background. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with medium bitterness.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, peach. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grapefruit, caramel, grassy, licorice hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120420]

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Toasted malty and crisp hoppy, bitter and light citrusy. Ends dry and crisp. Bitter and crisp hoppy. Rnds dry and crisp hoppy.

Draught. Medium high fluffy lasting white head. Hazy dark brown body. Fruity hoppy light vineous aroma and flavor. Mild but not sweet. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

500 ml bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a small frothy white head that leaves some trace on the glass while slowly dissipating. Smell is slightly sweet, herbal and floral with old dark bread, orange peal, wet grass, lemon balm, rotten vegetables, sulphur and hints of gooseberries and grapes. Taste is slightly sweet and bitter with orange peal, lemon zest, grape zest, old bread, moss, minerals and hints of caramel, pineapple and mango. Mouthfeel is round and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with orange peal, grapes, herbs and caramel. Possibly infected...

Ytterligare en Eskilstunaöl att pricka av. Tack SB för möjligheten att nu beställa lokalproducerad öl. Tyvärr vara denna flaska 8månader gammal om den liksom andra Eskilstunaöl har en 1 års bästföremärkning. Hur som helst mycket doft och smak kvar. De typiska Nelsonaromerna av rabarber, krusbär, vinbärsblad som drar åt gummi. Något platt kropp som inte känns så spänstig men ändå helt okej. Tycker att den sammantaget är helt okej vilket är ett mycket gott betyg med tanke på åldern.
