CaptainCougar (4678), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 9, 2005 Pours a very clear, still golden with a thin, fizzy and short-lived white head. Has a nice, lightly sweet crystal maltiness and good Saaz hoppy presence with a lager yeasty profile in the aroma. Body is clean and flavorful with pleasant maltiness for a pilsner and some biting carbonation before a crisp, bittersweet finish. Nice authenticity and good drinkability, a decent brew. muzzlehatch (4429), Burlington, USA Nov 10, 2005 12 oz bottle from the Woodmans on Gammon Road, Madison WI (Oct 2005). Pours a clear darkish gold with a massive, relatively stable soft white head, lots of fizzing...soft malty nose has a touch of caramel, very little in the way of pils hoppiness, just a hint of rather stale grass...a slight improvement in the flavor, light tingly-tart hops help out the light maltiness and rather soft, low carbonation....some nice spiciness near the finish, but too watery and dull overall. Mixed bag. Cornfield (4390), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Nov 24, 2007 Pours a clear golden body with heavy beading and a short fizzy head. The faint aroma has some sweet malt and a very light grassiness. Slightly oily plate. Not enough hops to be labeled a Pilsener, in my opinion. Tastes of pale malt and way mild hopping. The finish is crisp and has just a little grassy bitterness.

Three Cellars, Franklin, WI
JPDIPSO (4335), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 5, 2002 Appears to be contract brewed with Point Brewery in Stevens Point, WI. Clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of light honey which is quite unassuming. Medium body. Very mild malt and straw flavors. Finishes dry with a mild bitterness. Lacks malt flavors and noble hops aroma and flavor for a pilsner. A very basic american standard.
