COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is very similar to the raspberry only with blueberries. The blueberry flavor is a little more subtle than the raspberry. We serve this for a couple of months in the summer only.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin ring of off-white head. Leaves a few bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of slick lighter carbonation. Moderate sweet taste. Wheat flavor, and decent blueberry. I much prefer the raspberry version, though.

Reviewed from notes. Consumed last Summer. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance had a nice hazy golden orange to amber color. The smell had a nice blend of sweet blueberry notes subtly combining with a decent wheat malt base. The taste was mainly sweet with a light wheat kick at the end. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a sessionability that could be slightly discerned. The carbonation was subdued and slightly smooth but yet the wheat that was in this one maintained a certain mildness that wasn’t necessarily expected. Overall flavorful sweet fruity Summer ale in the blueberry fashion, uh... heck yeah, definitely one of the better blueberry ales on the market these days.

Had on draft at the brewery. Big blueberry aroma, some cracker as well. The flavor is all blueberry and doughy wheat notes. Not bad beer.

Poured from tap to glass. Hazy straw hue with white head and fresh blueberries floating on top. Aroma is huge blueberry, straw, sugar, clove, yeast. Mouthfeel is smooth with a medium light body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet wheat throughout with a mellow carbonic balance. Overall this is a fun seasonal brew.

Tap. Pours hazy yellow with white head- they threw on a few blueberries for effect I’m sure. Aroma is sweet, honey, berries, wheats, lots of blueberry. Taste light and crisp, under carbonated, a bit dirty, a touch of blueberry. Overall, nice flavor but flat- like all the beers from them. :/

On tap at the brewery with blueberries in the glass. Golden-amber appearance with a white head and nice lacing. Fresh, sweet and fruity berry aroma. Similar flavor with wheat malts and light lemons. Light body with a soft smooth feel. It was alright, pretty refreshing.

Bottled. Poured hazy medium golden with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up sweet blueberries and earthy wheat, with a little lemon behind.. not anything I was excited about drinking. The flavor found dry, toasty grains and tart wheat, with blueberry essence and light grassy notes laced throughout.. grainy, grassy, and a little tart on the finish.. not that good. Light-bodied, dry, and grainy on the palate.. OK essence from the berries.. not something I need another of.

Sampler at the brewery. Pours a white, lasting head, with a bit of lacing, over a clear yellow (SRM 3) body.......nose is blueberry with a hint of cereal....taste is blueberry finishing dry with a floral tone....mouth feel light carbonation medium. Dominated by the blueberry, this is a very simple beer which would be enjoyed by those who really don’t like beer. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5
