3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Orange-tan color, certainly closer to an Amber ( as the bottle accurately describes it) than a Golden Ale. Soapy, patchy head. Relatively straightforward smooth caramel malt tones with a touch of amber underneath. Has some similarities to a Cream Ale at times with its creamy orange-vanilla aroma and flavor. Not much hop presence, which works well in this case. Not exactly world-class, but certainly smooth session Ale.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
draft at the brewpub - Somewhere I was reading at the time, must have been the menu description, said this was an "amber". Odd. Thatís certainly not what Iíd call it. It pours fairly clear gold and has a very mild grainy malt aroma. Itís a sweet, light bodied brew thatís too watery and while drinkable, lacking in flavor.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle. Poured a deep gold with not much of a head. Smells a little sweet, but overall the smell is very mild. Taste starts slightly sweet and finishes with a crisp and mild hop finish. Overall, very light on the flavor.
