draft at the brewpub - Pours a hazy straw color with virtually no head. It has a rich, yeasty, banana aroma. The taste is sweet and wheaty with substantial banana and spice notes. I enjoyed this hefeweizen.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 3fourths (6219) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 26, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Dirty/murky/muddy yellow colored body with a fine white head. Far too yeast heavy (and don’t tell me that’s how hefeweizen is supposed to be) - low carbonation and soft texture. Creamed bananas and creamed wheat with some light lemon citrus. Bland.
3.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 KAggie97 (3170) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - OCT 19, 2006
Tap at brewpub. Pours cloudy but with a brownish mustard-yellow tint. Aroma is a perfect hefe: bubblegum, banana, and clove. This is how a hefe should smell. Flavor is soured banana with weak clove. Spreading mouthfeel. For such a good smell, this beer disappoints after that.

2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 uglyblond1 (177) - Nebraska, USA - MAY 13, 2006
I am not a fan of wheat beers, but this was probably not a good one to judge the genre. Aroma was pleasing, but taste was sweet and not enough hops to cover the wheat. Not a great aftertaste as well.
