COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Or award-winning India Pale Ale (1993) is a hop lovers dream. We load up on the Chinook and cascade to create high bitterness and wonderful aroma. We even dry-hop this beer to give it even more hop flavor. Our IPA has a rich copper color and lots of body.

I love the color of this one - deep copper amber. Fluffy head with lacing. Nice grapefruit nose and strong citric hop presence. Well balanced with a caramel sweetness. My only complaint is a watery mouthfeel, otherwise nice beer. Thanks to my father-in-law!

Maybe it’s the altitude, but this is a wonderful hoppy brew. This has been a favorite of mine for 5 - 6 years. Wish I could get some in Maine, but I will next October.

Really not much hop aroma for an IPA. Dark orange color. This is not a hoppy IPA - about equal with a SoCal Pale ale. The hops are more at the end of this. That said, this is still pretty easy drinking. Good, not great.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle to a dark amber color that almost looked brown at first. Had a lingering off-white head and very good lacing thru the entire glass. Although this did not have the usual IPA appearance, the aroma was floral and grapefruit/citrus. Flavor was more citrus, and the finish was smooth, slightly bitter, and very hoppy. I had this IPA while sitting in a hot-tub after a day of rafting down the Royal Gorge. A most enjoyable beer.

Deep mahogany with a white and frothy head - tight & creamy bubbles. Sweet, fresh & malty aroma! Mighty fine-looking beer. Upon the first sip, sweet hop flavors burst out. Pure olfactory candy. Nice amount of bitterness in the finish – balanced. Floral, earthy, & piney... with a dry and puckering finish. Gentle fruit flavors merge with the hops perfectly! Malt is well complemented also. Good beer!

A pretty tight IPA if i do say so myself. A cloudy copper colour with a medium sized head. Awesome aroma with fruity pebbles and fresh floral notes. Taste is so fruity and awesome with hints of pepper and blueberry as well as dankalicious herb notes.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark amber orange with light, fluffy head. Nose is hops and sharp citrus. Taste is floral sticky thick sweet to light hoppy bitterness. Not a bad IPA at all.

Bottle. Clear red-brown body with a nicely foamy medium tan head. Quite the looker! Bright, zesty PNW-hop aroma: sharp grapefruit rind and resin over grahm cracker. Grapefruit rind and stem hops foward in the flavor with a basic dry caramel malt in the background. Average mouthfeel. Wet bark-tart, grapefruit flesh finish. A pleasant find from Brennan’s!

Pours hazy dirty brown with a beige head. Strong resin aroma. Losts of resin/grapefruit over mild roast caramel. Quite bitter. Better than average IPA.
