This stout poured a deep black colour without a head at all. Random soapy bubbles, tan in colour. No lacing. Scents include cocoa, light coffee, white paste (glue), cardboard and burnt toast. First sip was almost un-carbonated with flavours of roasted coffee and malt with a very light flavour of cocoa. Finish is roasty with roasted caramel flavours lingering with coffee.

12oz bottle from danzarrella, thanks Dan! Pours a black body with a thin, creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, dark and milky chocolates, a nice roast backing, smooth oats, and a touch of vanilla. Flavor is similar. Sweet dark chocolates with some milk chocolate notes, heavy roasts, and a smooth oat feel. Light earthiness with some burnt notes to the roasts as this finishes dry, lightly bitter, and fairly well balanced with a richer chocolate maltiness. Lengthy aftertaste following a thinner body and a moderate, soft carbonation. Overall, a decent stout. A bit thin, but smooth with a nice chocolate and heavy roast balance. Enjoyable.

Pours dark brownish with thin tan head. Aroma has some notes of roast, toffee, some cocoa powder, coffee and espresso. Taste is nice and smooth but a bit weak, some espresso, roast, toffee, some caramel, slight chocolate, finishing slightly bitter. Went really well with a brownie, but by itself was fairly plain.
