COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our honey wheat beer contains 120lbs of honey per batch. As with the raspberry this is a lighter beer and also one of our most popular. The honey gives the beer a slight sweetness and also raises the alcohol content because the yeast ferments some of the honey. We use traditional hallertau hops in producing this unfiltered wheat ale.

A guy in our house gets kegs of the stuff from this brewery all the time. I’ve been pretty impressed with the Stinger, it’s really easy drinking and has a high alcohol content. It’s a very nice change from the regular party beer of Bud Light or Keystone Light.

Hazy golden/peach color with a quickly diminishing white head. Sour strawberry wine aroma. Flavors of light fruit (raisins, mangos and apricots). Touch of mild dry honey. Too many cider qualities.

Medium gold color, small head. Mild tasting wheat beer, no hoppyness. Slightly sweet aftertaste. No noticeable honey flavor.

Thin, whisp ring of foam. Cloudy and old appearance. Funky aromas all over th place: spoiled sourness and plastic. Flavors are horrendous. Thin and tasteless. Estes Park is quickly becoming my least favorie brewery.

Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow, dense tiny particles, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly yeasty (dough), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly malty (light bread). Flavor is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Obtained a fresher bottle at the brewery, but the aroma is still very faint, and it’s still fairly bland.

A cloudy beer with bits of who-knows-what floating around in it. Smells like your average macrobrew, and tastes about as bad. Can’t really make out any particular flavors other than the honey, which doesn’t do much to redeem it. Bitter aftertaste. Can’t say I’ll be having this one again.
