pessima birra. Queste birre commerciali son tutte uguali, non noti la differenza fra l’una e l’altra. Troppo amara pure.

33cl bottle from local Plus supermarket. Clear golden with a small to medium white head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet and hoppy. Malts, yeast, hay and citrus. An ok pale lager.

There is not much going on in the aroma. Some hay, straw, perhaps even citrus. It appears clear and golden, with a shortly lasting white head. The taste is medium sweet and lightly bitter in the finish. The most important thing is the refreshing character. A boring beer, but a good (summer) drink anyway.

A pale yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. A rather sulphurous, eggy and rubbery aroma, with some hops and malt once the initial smell dissipates. Dry mouthfeel. A tart hop flavour to start, slightly metallic, is followed by a more sweeter malt flavour, that tempers the tartness. This combination remains into the finish.

This refreshing light beer is perfect for the early spring day. The golden in colour beverage has the malty sweetness that is expected from a rice beer.

660ml bottle from Tesco. Pours clear pale gold, no head. Aromas are grains and dusty lemon. Taste is light sweet. Finishes astringently. Meh.

Inoffensive, drabe.

Bottle from Tesco into a pint glass. Pale yellow, gassy, bubbly head. Reasonably hopped aroma with some malt. Malty, bitter, not too bad. Not going to set the world alight by any means. Drinkable but very plain. Inoffensive.
