This has got to be one of my favourite bland lagers of the current time. I’ve had the stronger stuff in Spain but this is what they sell over here at my local tesco, with a 3 for 2 offer, so 12 bottles for a tenner, not bad value compared to the other of wishy washy UK lager like Stella, Bud, Carling, Fosters Gold etc which retail at Ł8 for 12. Granted I haven’t had it in anything other than a bottle, but it’s crisp, with a pleasing lagery taste. It holds well in high quantity, which is very important for me as I tend to drink at least 8-12 bottles in a session. The alcohol content is also pleasing for this purpose, at 4.6 it doesn’t get me as drunk as 5% stuff would, but lasts the same amount of time. It smells like a lazy Spanish afternoon, and would go great with tapas. The colour I assume is pale golden, as the Spanish stuff is. It also has an added benefit in that I’ve had no ill effects the following morning, as I do so often with the now 4.8% major brand lagers that we have in this country, which have also become very metallic. I assume this is because of a lack of chemical filtering. It has corn, and citrus in the nose, very grainy taste, with a mild hint of citrus. Light beer for light summer days. Lovely.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass at the World of Beer in Pooler, GA This beer has the traditional BMC look of pale straw color with a medium white head. The aroma is mostly grain and malt (not horrible). The flavor is grass and hops, the palate is semi-dry and this beer overall is not horrible but forgettable.

08/05/2016 thuis in een fles. Weinig indrukwekkend biertje.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2016 Can at home. Clear, very pale yellow colour with a white head. Nose is typical basement-y lager, some skunky aromas. Taste is very light, almost no bitterness. Label says contains rice and corn. Mouth says a ton... Low carbonation. The only thing that could save this beer is 35+°C.

Puszka. Barwa baardzo jasno słomkowa, prawie jak woda, piana dość długo zostaje, klarowne. W zapachu i smaku mokra tektura, nie przeszkadza ale i nie powala. Typowy wodnisty korpolager.

Clear yellow color, small white head. Little bit of corn, mostly empty aroma, watery taste reminded me of Corona, watery texture, soft carbonation.

Pours a watery and pale yellow with a thinner white head. The aroma contains grain, corn, bread, and some metallic notes. The taste is still a bit metallic, but it picks things up. Grassy hops, bread, hay, and some honey. Lacking an aftertaste. Light in body, a thinner texture, and average in carbonation. I wouldn’t choose this one again.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2016 Muf aroma zonder al teveel dieptegang. Bleek Helder van kleur en een kleine vage schuimkraag. Hinten van honing en een zachte carbonatie. Honingbrood achtig. Zacht en lekker van smaak, maar oninteressant.
