From the bottle poured a beautiful pale yellow brew with a genorous white head. Light aromas and flavors of malt and hops with hints of honey and vanilla. Light bodied and excellant on a hot day.

This has got to be one of my favourite bland lagers of the current time. Iíve had the stronger stuff in Spain but this is what they sell over here at my local tesco, with a 3 for 2 offer, so 12 bottles for a tenner, not bad value compared to the other of wishy washy UK lager like Stella, Bud, Carling, Fosters Gold etc which retail at £8 for 12. Granted I havenít had it in anything other than a bottle, but itís crisp, with a pleasing lagery taste. It holds well in high quantity, which is very important for me as I tend to drink at least 8-12 bottles in a session. The alcohol content is also pleasing for this purpose, at 4.6 it doesnít get me as drunk as 5% stuff would, but lasts the same amount of time. It smells like a lazy Spanish afternoon, and would go great with tapas. The colour I assume is pale golden, as the Spanish stuff is. It also has an added benefit in that Iíve had no ill effects the following morning, as I do so often with the now 4.8% major brand lagers that we have in this country, which have also become very metallic. I assume this is because of a lack of chemical filtering. It has corn, and citrus in the nose, very grainy taste, with a mild hint of citrus. Light beer for light summer days. Lovely.

Pale beer with thin fading head. Nice strong aroma of hops. Flavour is nice and strong - quite hoppy for a lager. Itís also well balanced as thereís plenty of flavour there but itís not overly dry. Easy to drink and refreshing.

330ml bottle, poured into Leffe chalice. 4.8%abv. Golden colour, clear, one finger head didnít hang around very long, not much lacing either. Aroma was paint and malt. Tasted a malt forward bitterness, slightly bready. The finish had a bit of sweetness. Crisp texture, light body, well carbonated. Overall it had a fairly basic taste, not bad for a hot day, but not that great.

Appearance: Clear golden with 2 finger thick white head. Aroma: Floral, corn and mineral. Taste: Medium sourness, low/medium sweetness and low bitterness. Palate: thick smooth texture, light body, average carbonation, crisp abrupt, dry malty finish with a slight sourness to it. Comments: Tasty and glass lace.
