I like the name. Damm. Almost sounds like damn. Where has this beer been all my life? I dont know, it seems average. If there was a exaft average beer this would be it. It is not bad or good it is okay

Bottle. light golden thin dissipating head. Did I catch a whiff of apple? Very faint aroma. Taste more flavorful. Tastes like your average beer. High carbonation.

Out of the bottle at home. Pours a darkened straw - looks like a urine sample in my mason jar. Almost no white head and little carbonation. No aroma - which can be a good thing for the style. Crisp dry taste with oxidized finish. Pretty uneventful - nothing good here but it also lacks many of the off flavors of a cheap lager. Some chewy grain.

330ml bottle (Stockmann, Riga)
Bland aroma, a touch of perfume. Pale, some persistence to the light head. Obnoxious papery palate. Nasty scrape-it-off finish. Noxious retronasals. Fairly clearly in the "nasty" camp.

Bottle sampled at home, 330ml:

Grainy smelling with a little bit of corn in there to begin with. Overall the aroma is quite subdued and hard to detect initially. There is a little bit of skunk but mainly it is sweet smelling & faint hops.
Light amber colour in appearance with good clarity & a foamy white head that is initially about a finger & a half tall before gradually reducing to a thin, soapy lacing after a few sips.
The bulk of the flavour comes from a mix of bread, corn & sweet adjuncts. It is quite well balanced though.
Light bodied & smooth most of the way through until it becomes a little chewy right at the end. There is also some decent carbonation.

An average, macro pale lager that is better than a lot of its competitors without really being excellent. It is smooth & goes down easily.

Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours a head that with little head retention. Little lacing. Light straw-like color. Aroma resembles a lot of Sol and Corona, light malts and corn. Very sweet beer and low-medium bittering hops. Not very satisfying for a regular beer drinker, but a good alternative for people with gluten allergy.

abemorsten (2767) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - OCT 5, 2011
Shared bottle at Cardinal. Pours clear paale golden with a rocky,off- white head leaving little lacing. Aroma rich with light malts, boiled vegetables and sugar. Heavy sweet and medium bitter flavors with strong cardboard notes. The bitterness has a turnip side to it that is unappealing. Medium to full body. Light metallic. Dry tongue. Not recommended unless you need a rate fix to make you feel good.

330ml single from "Lifesource",Salem. $2.15 Typical bright yellow lager..woth reasonable bubbly white head. Light aromas..mostly hay like, slightl earthy. Taste is again average..not too sweet though which is a blessing, some honey tones and a drying bitterness at the end. OK. Nice on the palate..good carbonation..dry finish. Overall a nice enough lager and if i had the medical need this onen would suit me fine.
