From notes: Poured clear straw color with a 1-finger white head. Aroma was grassy and yeasty, reminiscent of a pilsner. Medium body with a slight thickness. The finish is brief, with a slight astringency. Earthy, grainy flavor up front with a very light citrus touch at the back. The earthiness lingers a bit in the finish.

11.2 Oz. Bottle. Poured clear golden with hardly any head. Aroma of yeast and cereal. Taste also of cereal combined with malts and very weak hop notes a bit too sweet and a bit too bland. No magic here, just OK.

Clear yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is cereal grains. Taste is cereal grains, a little bitterness. Crisp finish, A little dry mouthfeel. On of the better gluten free beers I have had.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours pale gold with foamy white head. Nose is corny, with mild hops. Tastes of corny flakey flavor, not a bad flavor for a gluten free pale lager clone, with mild hops, some sweetness, and a watery finish. As a gluten free offering, this one is decent.

Bottle at World of Beer (Land O Lakes). Pours a clear golden yellow color with a foamy white head. Decent lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is pretty bas with weak, sweet cereal malt and grassy hop notes. Flavor isn’t any better. This beer makes me glad I’m not allergic to gluten.

Clear, very light golden lager. The head is pure white and of good proportion. It has a sweet corn aroma and even sweeter taste as all mass produced lagers should... LOL. Can’t tell its gluten free... just taste like Estrella Damm, the Budweiser of Spain, with added, unfermented sugar. What a shame on Spain, but then again, what isn’t?

Clear gold with a huge, foamy white head. Slightly skunky, slightly sour, grassy aroma. Taste is a bit doughy, hay-grass.....slightl leafy bitter...malt. Honestly, almost decent..though slightly bland.

I was interested to taste this as my brother-in-law’s fiancee is a coeliac. It’s ok, but I detected a sour after-taste that (obviously) I didn’t like. It’s acceptable enough as a lager

Appearance: clear medium gold with a thick, soapy white head that shrinks to a fat collar and leaves tons of lace rings. Aroma: toasted white bread, grass, floral honey. Taste: sweet and grainy, with notes of pie crust and graham crackers, with light hay undertones. Finish: crisp, clean, refreshing, and slightly sweet. Notes: I don’t get the hate. This was a drinkable, well-balanced beer. Unlike many of the gluten-free beers I’ve tried, this one actually had some depth of character. In fact, I never would have guessed it was gluten free.

Lore (1429) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 23, 2012
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2013 bright golden colour with minimal head, its taste is highly dominated by sweetcorn-like sweetness (it might be because of the rice it contains) with some minimal bitterness; despite that it contains only 5.4% alcohol, this is not fully masked by malt and hop and can be felt - it is not so positive in this case...worse, than average lager
