Bland aroma, a touch of perfume. Pale, some persistence to the light head. Obnoxious papery palate. Nasty scrape-it-off finish. Noxious retronasals. Fairly clearly in the "nasty" camp.

Light yellow, white head. Aroma is lightly malty, corn maybe some hops. Watery as hell, not much flavor. Meh.

Bottle @ home. Clear, golden appearance with a white head. Skunky, dull grainy, a touch fruity, straw aroma. Weird, nutty, pale grainy, straw, skunky flavor. Fuck this shit. Drain pour.

355mL found for $2. Pours clear straw. Soapy weak lacing. Nose is very skunky all the way. Some sugar and pineapple. Sweetened white grape juice. Yellow apple. Taste is papery, stale watered down pineapple juice, spicy white grapes. Definitely import lager swill but not too offensive. I don't mind skunky beer. But beware. Drake (8322) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - APR 8, 2012
12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Decent head retention. Grainy aroma, some nutty notes and grassy hops. The taste is bitter hops, grain and a bit of toastiness. Medium bodied. Solid beer overall and excellent for a gluten free offering.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized rough white head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts and grains, lightly some dusty hay. Taste malts, grains, a light, slightly spicy bitterness with a slight sweet hint coming through as well. Low body, low to medium carbonation.

Rune (7986) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2011
Bottle, 330ml from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Crystal clear, yellow-gold. Fast declining, white head. Vague smell of pale malts with notes of lactose. Taste of caramel, corn and a bit of grass. Dry and sweet finish. Faint oily palate. Soft carbonated. Standard minus for the style (Tromsø, 13.06.2011).

JorisPPattyn (7885) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 30, 2010
Small snowwhite head over deep-golden bee; fine lacerings left. Very intense malty nose; sweet pale & slightly roasted malts. Which equals itself to a major miracle, since the "beer" probably HASN’T any real malt. Sweet, malty again, ending in a CO²- and wortssourness, finish being utterly empty. Bit fizzy, not really bodied; watery after the Ersatz-malts are gone. A nose dreamt up for the maltgeeks. But once the first gulp is down...

Pours burnt golden with a little head. Aroma of heavy grassy hops, a tinge of something unpleasant.

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours pale gold with foamy white head. Nose is corny, with mild hops. Tastes of corny flakey flavor, not a bad flavor for a gluten free pale lager clone, with mild hops, some sweetness, and a watery finish. As a gluten free offering, this one is decent.
