probstblueribbon (3715) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 22, 2015
330 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Pale golden with a nice white head. Aroma: Light herbal/grassy hops, sweet and grainy. Palate: Medium body and fairly lively carbonation. Flav.: Sweet grainy malt, a little wet cardboard, light grassy hops; lightly sweet with minimal bitterness and a grainy, sweet finish.

Not too bad considering that it is gluten free.

yngwie (16503) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 27, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 Bottle. It pours the expected clear, golden body and small, white head. The aroma starts off with a fruity, grainy touch, but is soon nothing more than a weak scent of hay, grass, grains and a little fruity hint. The flavor is more on the fruity side, with an appropriate level of pale malts. Fruity flavors makes this one quite tastefull. Low on bitterness though. Dry, medium body and super-effervescent. Actually so fizzy it washes away a lot of the flavor. Some bitterness in the finish, and also a faint metallic hint. Well, considering it’s said to be suitable for people with coeliac disease, I’m pretty pleased. Else it’s just a bit more interesting than the average pale lager. 090827

Botella. Clear golden colour. Mild malty and hoppish grainy aroma. Ok mouthfeel. The flavour has a mild maltiness with a mild dry bitterness and some grains.

Bottle pours clear gold with a white head that never quite dissipates. Aroma is sweet grain and grassy hops. Flavor shows basically the same. Body is light and finish is dry. Not too shabby for a gluten free beer.

Bottle. Straw colored with a short white head. Aroma is slightly skunky and semi-sweet with a corn and light grass nose. Taste is also rather sweet and corny with more grassy hops, seltzer water and light fruit. Body is light-medium with bubbly carbonation. Ends with more corny sweetness, soft hops, fruit notes and the flavor of grains
