UPDATED: AUG 30, 2009 Bottle. It pours the expected clear, golden body and small, white head. The aroma starts off with a fruity, grainy touch, but is soon nothing more than a weak scent of hay, grass, grains and a little fruity hint. The flavor is more on the fruity side, with an appropriate level of pale malts. Fruity flavors makes this one quite tastefull. Low on bitterness though. Dry, medium body and super-effervescent. Actually so fizzy it washes away a lot of the flavor. Some bitterness in the finish, and also a faint metallic hint. Well, considering it’s said to be suitable for people with coeliac disease, I’m pretty pleased. Else it’s just a bit more interesting than the average pale lager. 090827

Botella. Clear golden colour. Mild malty and hoppish grainy aroma. Ok mouthfeel. The flavour has a mild maltiness with a mild dry bitterness and some grains.

Bottle pours clear gold with a white head that never quite dissipates. Aroma is sweet grain and grassy hops. Flavor shows basically the same. Body is light and finish is dry. Not too shabby for a gluten free beer.

Bottle. Straw colored with a short white head. Aroma is slightly skunky and semi-sweet with a corn and light grass nose. Taste is also rather sweet and corny with more grassy hops, seltzer water and light fruit. Body is light-medium with bubbly carbonation. Ends with more corny sweetness, soft hops, fruit notes and the flavor of grains

Dorqui (2148) - Brescia, ITALY - JUL 31, 2011
Bottled 0,33L. Golden yellow clear color, much limpid and with a pretty bubbly aspect. Discreet head of medium resistance. Sufficient aroma with light notes of dried grassy, corn and cereals. Upper expectation taste, it’s not seem a celiac’s beer. Nothing special, but balanced alcohol and bitter content, appreciable malty final. Surprising.

Pours a clear, light straw with no real head at all, despite the fact that it has fairly high carbonation. The aroma is of slightly skunked oatmeal (despite the fact that it was in a brown bottle) with minimal hops. The taste, likewise, is of skunk and light, fairly bland, vegetal malt with a light hop finish (cluster hops? Something along those lines). Not horrible, but not worth the upcharge that this beer sells for.
