Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2010 pours a murky golden color with a white head. the aroma is subtle, hard to explain exactly what i sense, but it reminds me of summer. initially it tastes of citrus fruits, it even feels like there is one on your tongue. then it melts away into a creamy finish.

I am suprised by the low ratings for this one. I found it to be quite compelling for the style. Very flavorful with a nice complexity.

Pours a three-finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer and leaves some lace. Yeasty orange nose. Hazy amber color. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied. Flavor is orange with the yeast in background. Nice wit. $9.99 for a 750ml bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow colur with a big white head. Aroma and taste of fresh citrus, coriander and a touch of mint. Very fresh spanish version of wit. Short sweet and fresh finish. Would love it along with a plate of mussels. Nice one.

.5 L bottle directly from Barcelona. Appearance is great, small creamy, frothy white excellent lacing head with short life. Body hue orange yellow reminds me of blue moon. Smells like Belgian yeast, banana and orange with a spice I canít put my finger on, probably because Iím smelling the yeastyness. Flavor is nothing special. Maybe I donít have a pallet for the Belgian yeast beers, but it is very light and little hops finish, a smooth and carbonation tinge on the tongue finish. Light body finish, watery, lively carbonation very smooth finish. Yeast sediment on bottom of bottle, not a bad beer, expecting more.

Rather dissappointing, considering that itís announced as one of the finest beers in spain, created by Ferran Adria. Soft aroma, with very distinct traces of wheat, and some citrus hops. Once in palate, the citrus taste becomes closer to lemon peel and some spices, but itís still very similar to a hefe weizen. Their reccomendation is to drink it cold, but if you do, you lose all this notes, so itís contradictory. In their web site they talk about the complexity of aromas and flavors, but I coulnít find them. Also, the alcohol level is really low for a beer thatís supposed to be that complex. On the other hand, If you consider that Damm brewery is a macro lager producer, this is a great bear, but in a very different category.

Huge, dense yellowish head over fully hazy apricot-coloured beer. Coriander≥ and marzipan, cookies, ad nauseam. Sweet, marzipan and of course coirander, getting some citrus, with sweet-soft gingerbread. But horror, each new sip gives a whiff of chlorine!! Light, slightly velvety texture, wheat slickness. OK, I didnít sample it accompanying an espuma, but I still refuse to think that this is the thing to convert winedrinkers to gastronomic beeradventures. Iím glad El Bulli has taken this stance, but the result is... dubious.

Poured a slightly hazy light orange color. Light fruity aroma along with some yeast. Tart citrus flavor. Finished a bit thin. Not a bad beer, but not worthy of the hefty price tag.
