Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

Pours a translucent yellow with a fluffy white head, nice lacing. Aroma is coriander, yeast, citrus and grass. Taste is a muted sweetness with the citrus coming through. Very light mouthfeel makes this very easy to drink.

Estrella Damm Inedit Pours pale gold with a medium white head and moderate lacing and retention. Aroma is slight Belgian yeast and Fat Tire with a hint of clove. Flavor is slightly metallic, with some lemon, yeast and clove. Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Not bad, but not a standout.

This beer pours a cloudy dull yellow with a medium white head that dissipates quickly leaving slight lacing down the sides. The aroma is coriander, lemon zest and bubblegum. On the palate it is quite lively and sweet from the sip to the swallow. This one was a little disappointing for a white, but it wasn’t horrible either. Cheers!

marcus (7235) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 14, 2010
Pours cloudy pale yellow with a nice white head and a banana aroma. This is a standard witbier formula, with coriander and orange peel added to a slightly sour wheat base. It’s fairly thin and a little more bitter than usual. Not a great witbier.
