Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

Pretentious packaging. Pours golden yellow with frothy white head and haze. Aroma is light - orange and coriander, pineapple and lemon with a hint of yeast. Flavor is light and fruity, with light pilsner malt, orange zest. Body is effervescent and smooth but a little watery. I liked the attempt here by Damm to postulate that beer can be just as fine as wine, but the beer would have to be outstanding and this is a little thin and mediocre as far as witbier goes.

Beer with rice is not god for ratebeer (impression of myself) Aroma and taste are not the best. Sorry for a medium old company like damm. Visca el Barça.

Champagne shaped bottle, 750ml, pours golden slightly hazy with a nice white head, aroma of lichi, pineapple and peach, flavor of yeast, lemon and pinapple with some herby-banana finish, medium to low body, OK.

The coriander and orange aroma really opened up like a fine wine. It left the palate clean and goes well with foie gras and cheeseburgers. Replaced champaign with this beer for a new years toast.

2009-06-25, Flaska 8 grader - vinglas, Göteborg Jästfällning. Först klar sedan alt molnigare. D: Yest! S: Jäst, citrus, naturell laktris, fruktig, liten tunn men endock fyllig smak, halvtorr. Hade vunnit på att vara mer fyllig! ES: lång eftersamak av ovan. Notera: koriandern - var hittade de den. Föredömligt med liten informationslapp om det mesta om detta öl...

75 cl bottle at home. Clear (at least in the top of the bottle) golden color, with a hint of yellow. Fine white head. Aroma has moderate coriander and orange peel. Flavor is medium sweet and has very little bitterness. Light body, ok carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma is very aromatic with coriander and orange peel. Flavor is nice, faint spice, coriander, citrus peel, light maltiness and light hop bitter. Mouth feel is a disappointment...Watery with light, soft fizzy carbonation. Overall, a tasty little beer....refreshing.

Pours a lackluster cheddar yellow with an aroma of seltzerized coriander, orange peeln and musty yeast. Flavor is subdued barn-aged yeast, watered-down coriander, and sweet Pilsner malt. Nice tingly mouthfeel that leaves a nice film. Just an average beer in fancy packaging.

had on christmas 2009, at home at around 5pm while enjoying a cheese and smoked salmon platter, just waiting on the leg of lamb to pair this nice little brew. has a wonderful bucket (bouquet) and looks great. uplifting stuff. very clean palate, wipes the tongue clean . very easy to put down. does go well with fatty.oily foods. a winner for my xmas dinner!

well, i gotta say for 4.8% i sure caught a helluva a buzz. not a ton of flavor which was sort of a downer. found a bit more as it warmed up but not much. not much citrus, banana, etc...that you’d find in a witte. total easy drinker. looked good though.
