COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

Big bomber brought to me from Spain by my wife. Pours a cloudy orange-yellow, with ample fizzing up to a white, fluffy foam head, that bubbles away over the course of the next few minutes. Nose is of hay and lager funk, with something like butter (apologies to the previous rater for stealing your vibe, but I think you nailed it!) and apple cider vinegar in there as well. Flavor is understated, even for a Wit. Sort of a weak stab at bready malts and perhaps some grass and spruce hops, a stab of sweetness and earthy funk at the finish folllowed much later by something like black pepper!?... but it’s all watered down and out. Spain and Germany met, and they agreed to make this beer... that’s funny "awwww", not funny "ha ha". Nice try guys. Wait, check that. Terrible try guys. Not undrinkable by any stretch, and I thank my wife for bringing this across the ocean just for me. But, this is not worth whatever they’re charging in EUROS for it.

A witbier as you could find in Belgium and Holland. Not realy high on spices, therefor quite mellow.

Pours a light hazy yellow yeasty color with a good white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy with hints of coriander. Sweet bready taste, with a lot of spices, coriander and nutmeg. Light body, fresh to drink. A bit sweet finish. Well it’s well made beer, interesting combination of styles and tastes. Its’ purpose is to much a nice meal on a good restaurant, and think it does it well. Just too much spicy in my opinion. And i don’t like that much nutmeg and coriander.

Bottle at Carrboro Beverage. Thanks Israel. This just tasted like an medicore pale lager to me. Looked kinda witish, but other than that it was fairly grainy, light grass, but not Belgian character at all. Maybe American Wheat or premium lager would be a better style.

Not bad at all, orange flavour and a typical witbier. Can’t complain much about this.

750 ml bottle.
Pours a unclear yellow colour with a white head which collapses quickly. Aroma of wheat, lemon and coriander; just like they promised on the label. Flavour of wheat, coriander, herbs, cardboard and some weak citrusy notes. Light bodied, thin mouthfeel and a light wheaty finish. Flavour doesn’t live up to the expectations that the aroma set. Light summery witbier anyway.

Soft pale yellow pour with a slight head. Nose is bready with a saline minerality and herbal quality. Crisp and herbal with a slightly saline character and spice. Interesting.

Bottle at Craig’s, thanks! Sweet honey and grassy notes on the nose with spicy wheat and yeast notes and a lemon+corriander finish.

In bottle. Pours a blonde colour with a fair white head. Aroma of lemon, orange zest, coriander and caramel. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Just a little liquorice to finish. Very nice. Reminds me of a saison.
