COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

Pours opaque orange with white head. Aroma of oranges and cloves. Taste crisp with very nice carbonation hints of coriander and orage peals. Also has a nice esters from the yeast giving off peppery bread finish. Overall a good example of Belgian wit but not one of my favorites.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat, floral notes, and orange. Flavor wheat and barely hints of orange. Overall this is pretty bland, without the pop of flavor you get with most witbiers.

(750ml) In a St Bernardus goblet. I only purchased this beer as they were all out of Duvel 750ml’s @ a local Waitrose and I have never heard of it . I am giving up rating beer because its a waste of my time , tedious and I prefer to drink the good shit I like. Then why am I rating this now ? What is wrong with me ? . Well, nothing at all., its u . Poured out with a very shy white head and bight sandy dirty blond colour. I should have used a different glass but fuck it , this humble drink is lucky it sat in a St Bernardus glass. A very light nose , I mean quit mean on any character opening up in this nose . There is wheat ,spice , orange ,chalk , but nothing special or better than dime a dozen hoeggarden . I drank this as fast as I could because I was about to go out and watch a bullshit Dinosaur movie and needed a 90 minute buzz. The main impression is its spicy , rich and tart . Quit soulless and boring . I might r8 later or maybe not. (second 750ml ) Original score a shitty ’3’ . I like witbiers more than your typical beer-wanker , to this day I’ll happily drink hoeggarden till i pass out , but St Bernardus Wit is the king pin in the style regardless . Now that i am not as drunk as yesterday I see more merit with this . There is a palate the bridges sweet wheaty accents with bitter spicy tart refreshment . notes of gritty orange zest , soil, sugary breakfast ceral extract poured into a beer with wheat emphasis . A better beer than I said yesterday , but U know , nothing grate -not sure I’d buy again. Fuck u.

Blonde palichone, grosse carbo, petit collet persistant. Aromes zeste d’orange et coriandre. Mince et pétillante en bouche, note d’orange en finale courte.

Bottle, 75cl. Pours hazy, cloudy yellow with a small off-white airy head. Floral nose with citric refreshments mixed with coriander, wheat, bananas, bread and spices. Fresh, light sweet initial flavour around wheat, bananas, coriander and citrus. Modest sensation of spices and orange peel along its light bitter finish. Oily texture and thin-medium body for the type. Had it on a warm summer day which was rather perfect.

Hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweetish perfumy aroma with distinct coriander and citrus notes. Light body with citrus and a rather distinct acidity all through the finish that has no bitterness.

From the flavor perspective this beer should be regarded as a Wit Beer light. All the right things are there but just not as strongly as one might expect from a Belgian or a US version of a Wit Beer.

Slight haze, with medium but nice top forming, sour gooseberry-plum aroma as the taste is mild but sugary sour, chewingum. Good and refreshing in a hot summers day.
