2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours opaque orange with white head. Aroma of oranges and cloves. Taste crisp with very nice carbonation hints of coriander and orage peals. Also has a nice esters from the yeast giving off peppery bread finish. Overall a good example of Belgian wit but not one of my favorites.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
75 cl bottle from eDrinks in Tallinn (€ 2.99 - should be around € 7 in Stockmann). BB 05/2015. Cool design. The beer is a translucent pale yellow with an off-white head, retention not great, lacing ok. A subtle floral nose with wheat and faint spiciness (clove), autumn fruits. Taste wheaty and grainy, overall sweet with nearly no bitterness except for a tiny tingle in the dry and wheaty finish. Body light, nearing watery, carbonation thin but active. It’s quite neutral, rather dull actually, but not terrible either, but it’s proved to be ok in big company when no one really cares / notices what they drink anymore after all the good beer’s gone and not yet ready to hit the harder stuff. Good thing it’s so damn cheap at eDrinks.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
It is a nice wit, the liquorice/anise hint is nice and subtle. Is it Ferran Adria worthy? No, it isn’t great enough. Spain has much better beers than this.
Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Latitude, Leeds. A fusion of two styles but it is certainly the witbier that dominants in this brew. It has an excellent nose, with pale malts and yeasts combining to give it a potent and slightly floral aroma. Its texture and taste are similar but less stated with a decent smoothness in the palate. Perhaps the lager malts greatest contribution is its rather flat looking pale amber-orange colour with next to no head. There’s some fruit evident in its flavours.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is slightly skunky malts, honey, clove and yeast. Taste is light honey, caramel, and sweet caramel. Finishes pretty smoothly, not very complex. Appearance is a clear straw body with a pearl head that retains fairly poorly.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
En lett og "ufarlig" øl. Skremmer ikke bort noen, men heller ikke det mest spennende. Lettdrikkelig og friskt.
