Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

&50 ml bottle. $4 at Famous Liquors March ’11. The flyer around a neck band says serve in a wine glass. I’ll use my tulip-like IPA glass, then. Pours a very busy, foamy golden beer with a spongy white head. Nose has the usual spicy wit smell (and labels need to be allowed a nicer legal description than "malt beverage brewed with spices"). Taste is on the spice side at first. I may have let the sit a bit too long; even though the malt looks filtered, there may be some autolyzed yeast here. A touch of hop bitterness on the order of a Pilsener. The little flyer, again, says to expect a "fresh yeast" taste, I now see. Other than maybe being too aged by me, it’s pretty good. I’m still halfway through the bottle, but I still don’t see any layer of yeast in the punt of the bottle. Got a good beat, though, I can dance to it.

Little hazy golden color, small white head. Weak wheat aroma, yeast, bread, little note of banana and citrus. Taste is little bit sour and sweet, finish is dry. Taste is wheat, banana. Beer is watery, light body, thin texture, high carbonation.

Bottled, best by 12/15. Pours pale yellow, slightly hazy, small white head. Aroma is lemon, coriander, esters, slight belgian-style yeast. Flavor is very light. Lemon, banana, clove, esters. Ok, nothing spectacular, but certainly not unpleasant. Easy sipper.

Dark bottle, 330ml, Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh City. Pours pale with a minimal head. Scent is strong lager malt and yeasts. Taste is plain, full-bodied lager. Nothing like a belgian white whatsoever. A decent beer and not too expensive given the aesthetic.

Bottle 750ml. Clear light yellow with medium white head. The aroma is yeasty and floral with some fruitiness (citrus, pear) and a bit sugary. Sweet flavor, yeasty, notes of bubblegum, citrusy hops, herbs, some graininess and light bitterness in the finish. Lively carbonation, medium-bodied.

330ml bottle. Clear golden, small white head, that stays on for longer than I expected. Nose is coriander, some wheaty notes, mild sweetness, paper. Flavor is more coriander, slight sweetness, hay, wheaty finish with mild hops in the finish. Very neutral and drinkable.

Spændende øl fra Spanien. Meget præsentabel elegant flaske. Øl med en let friskhed - super til tapas (sammen med konen måske - læs = god til det kvindelige køn)
