Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

&50 ml bottle. $4 at Famous Liquors March ’11. The flyer around a neck band says serve in a wine glass. I’ll use my tulip-like IPA glass, then. Pours a very busy, foamy golden beer with a spongy white head. Nose has the usual spicy wit smell (and labels need to be allowed a nicer legal description than "malt beverage brewed with spices"). Taste is on the spice side at first. I may have let the sit a bit too long; even though the malt looks filtered, there may be some autolyzed yeast here. A touch of hop bitterness on the order of a Pilsener. The little flyer, again, says to expect a "fresh yeast" taste, I now see. Other than maybe being too aged by me, it’s pretty good. I’m still halfway through the bottle, but I still don’t see any layer of yeast in the punt of the bottle. Got a good beat, though, I can dance to it.

Botella 33cl Lidl supermercado, cerveza fresca, con un toque de sabor a limón, una más sin pena ni gloria pero con el nombre de Ferran Adriá como cebo

Aroma is very pilsner-like, with some spice and a hint of wheat. Nice golden color with an ivory head. Taste follows aroma with some sweetness at the end. Very drinkable, refreshing and subtle. Interesting palate, light and low carbonation at the same time. This was interesting and I’m glad I tried it.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours somewhat cloudy straw yellow with rapid bubbles rising and frothy, creamy greyish head. Aroma light with wheat, some cereal, vague herbiness and faint wood. Very refreshing and can see this pairing really well with food, but not especially distinctive or exciting.

Aroma: corainders, some weak citrus notes. Appearance: clear golden color and thin white head. Taste: coriander, some fruity notes, very watery and no body. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, zesty finish. Overall: It is a kind of joke, really.
