Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

&50 ml bottle. $4 at Famous Liquors March ’11. The flyer around a neck band says serve in a wine glass. I’ll use my tulip-like IPA glass, then. Pours a very busy, foamy golden beer with a spongy white head. Nose has the usual spicy wit smell (and labels need to be allowed a nicer legal description than "malt beverage brewed with spices"). Taste is on the spice side at first. I may have let the sit a bit too long; even though the malt looks filtered, there may be some autolyzed yeast here. A touch of hop bitterness on the order of a Pilsener. The little flyer, again, says to expect a "fresh yeast" taste, I now see. Other than maybe being too aged by me, it’s pretty good. I’m still halfway through the bottle, but I still don’t see any layer of yeast in the punt of the bottle. Got a good beat, though, I can dance to it.

Clear, ever so slighty hazy golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of curacao, tons of wheat, yeast, bubble gum and some coriander seed. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong flavours of wheat, yeast, coriander seed and lemons with a very mild sweetness, some malt noticeable and a touch of licorice. Aftertaste shows some light wheat flavours, a lot of citrus and curacao and a touch of yeast. Overall, a decent attempt at a wit - not a great example, but nice in Spain and with the heat -a welcome alternative! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased a few minutes ago from SuperTOT in Barcelona, Spain on 15-April-2014 for €2,99 sampled in my apartment here in Barcelona on 15-April-2014.

Not quite as cloudy as a top flight Belgian. Good head and lacing. Pretty well a normal Witbier, meaning nothing stands out. Maybe a little sweeter. Not worth the hype of a fancy bottle/price.

Bottle 750ml. Pours slightlyy hazy blond with low-medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of grain, citrus, hay. Taste is of grain, citrus, sugar, very slight acidity, hay. Palate: Light body. Light carbonation. Overall: Meh. Very straight-forward, and not so good. Not too bad either, it’s just when you read the description up there, while tasting the beer, you get the impression this is a joke.

DWG; Pours hazy golden with a frothy deminishing white to off-white head. Nose is malty, yeasty, fruity and spicy. Taste is moderate sweet, light bitter and spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is avarage.

Pours yellow with a thin white head. Nose is fruit and spice: coriander and citrus zest. Taste is mildly sweet, but a bit thin and bland. Decent body, but the flavor is weak. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
