Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

&50 ml bottle. $4 at Famous Liquors March ’11. The flyer around a neck band says serve in a wine glass. I’ll use my tulip-like IPA glass, then. Pours a very busy, foamy golden beer with a spongy white head. Nose has the usual spicy wit smell (and labels need to be allowed a nicer legal deScription than "malt beverage brewed with spices"). Taste is on the spice side at first. I may have let the sit a bit too long; even though the malt looks filtered, there may be some autolyzed yeast here. A touch of hop bitterness on the order of a Pilsener. The little flyer, again, says to expect a "fresh yeast" taste, I now see. Other than maybe being too aged by me, it’s pretty good. I’m still halfway through the bottle, but I still don’t see any layer of yeast in the punt of the bottle. Got a good beat, though, I can dance to it.

Opalescent pale yellow colour, minimal white head; aroma of coriander, honey, wheat and some citruses; taste is the same; though not the best witbier I’ve ever tasted, it is still an enjoyable beer

Faint orange peel and coriander and yeast. White-ish yellow colour and billowy foam. Surprisingly decent but a bit underwhelming.

Pours bright yellow and bit hazy with white top. Some oak, spices and flowers in aroma. Sweet taste with herbs, tea, fruits and bit wood. Different, but too sweet for me.

Very light beer, easy drinkability. Light color. Almost no taste and palate, all very light, does not show much personality. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours cloudy blonde, aroma is like a regular wheat beer slightly citric. Taste of bananas, orange and coriander. Dry slightly sour aftertaste. Better than some German wheat beers i’ve had, decent effort.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is orange peel and coriander, paired with sweet grains. Taste is silky wheats, spices, light. Smooth carbonation. Ok.

Bottle @Athens Craft Beer Expo (Zythognosia), during a food+beer pairing workshop. Was paired with sous vide octopus marinated in beer, wrapped in cucumber slice with squeal ink as a topping. Pours light yellow with small, diminishing white head. Light body, medium carbonation, no particles detected. Aromas of grass, grain, floral, earthly in general. Light bitterness, citrus and lemon hints. A fair wit paired well with the plate.
