3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
&50 ml bottle. $4 at Famous Liquors March ’11. The flyer around a neck band says serve in a wine glass. I’ll use my tulip-like IPA glass, then. Pours a very busy, foamy golden beer with a spongy white head. Nose has the usual spicy wit smell (and labels need to be allowed a nicer legal description than "malt beverage brewed with spices"). Taste is on the spice side at first. I may have let the sit a bit too long; even though the malt looks filtered, there may be some autolyzed yeast here. A touch of hop bitterness on the order of a Pilsener. The little flyer, again, says to expect a "fresh yeast" taste, I now see. Other than maybe being too aged by me, it’s pretty good. I’m still halfway through the bottle, but I still don’t see any layer of yeast in the punt of the bottle. Got a good beat, though, I can dance to it.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours light gold. Aroma of cloves, pepper, sour milk. Spicy taste with sweet and sour. Nice enough but certainly not anything unique.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle into pint glass. Faint malt nose, touch of hops. Slightly hazy yellow beer with thin head and many bubbles. Zingy and fresh in the mouth. The finish is malt and wheat with just a hint of fruit and coriander. Understated but really easy drinking.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Meget lettdrikkelig.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Interesting fruit, slight tawny port, aroma pour straw colour sudsy weak carbonation, bit of fruit, spice(cinnamon) and sweetness, ripe bananas, very light palate, a bit of redeeming bitter finish but quite delicate and a bit watery. The slight ester funk maybe due to shelf life limits or maybe this is just how these perfumed wheat beers of this style are which is why I usually avoid. .

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear pale yellow with a one finger lingering white head. Nose is grains, lemon, yeast , light floral hops, banana, light pepper and coriander. Lightly sweet honey and caramel with equally light citrus tartness and hints of spice. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation. Very mild but nicely balanced.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle into pint glass, best before 12/2015. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy rings of lacing cling down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, pepper, wheat, cracker, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, fairly creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice witbier style! All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
