COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aromatized with coriander, orange peel and liquorice.

Inedit means "Never been done before". In cooperation witht the brewmasterd of Estrella Damm, Inedit was crafted by the globally acclaimed chef Ferran Andria, Juli Soler and sommeliers Ferran Centelles and David Seijas from ElBulli Restaurant.

A skillfully brewed blend of lager and wheat beer styles, Inedit uses a combination of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, orange peel, yeast and water. Uniquely brewed to create a complex aroma and opaque appearance, a floral nose leaves a sensation of fresh yeast and sweet spices. Lightly carbonated with a creamy texture, the soft full body leaves a long and lasting finish.

.5 L bottle directly from Barcelona. Appearance is great, small creamy, frothy white excellent lacing head with short life. Body hue orange yellow reminds me of blue moon. Smells like Belgian yeast, banana and orange with a spice I can’t put my finger on, probably because I’m smelling the yeastyness. Flavor is nothing special. Maybe I don’t have a pallet for the Belgian yeast beers, but it is very light and little hops finish, a smooth and carbonation tinge on the tongue finish. Light body finish, watery, lively carbonation very smooth finish. Yeast sediment on bottom of bottle, not a bad beer, expecting more.

Hazy yellow body with a white head. Good lacing. Aroma is sweet fruit, yeast, coriander. Apricot stands out from the fruitiness. Taste is sweet with very light bitterness. A good generic beer.

Bottle 75 CL. Pours hazy yellow with soapy frothy white head. Notes of hay, mandarin, grass, wheat. Goes down pretty easy. Nice drink for this sunny midsummer day.

From bottle. Pours clear pale gold with a soda water head.. Toasted grain, rice cake malt, light phenol plastic notes and faint orange perfume spice notes. I wouldn’t have guessed witbier, it doesn’t show any creaminess from the wheat, it’s flaccid and watery instead, and some across something more like a neutral blonde ale. Lightly sweet, light body, low bitterness, effervescent carbonation.

Poured from 750ml bottle a clear gold with a fine thin white head. Aroma was light and lemony for me with some hay and yeast. Taste was also light, not bad since it was in the mid 90’s today but I doubt I would have liked that on a normal day. I got the lemons again with hay and I’m guessing the spice note at the finish was the coriander. Not bad not great, maybe chefs should stick to food.

Bottle at the chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours clear yellow with a light, white cream head. Basic stuff, pale, with some fruity tones, dry bread, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. More dry bread to finish. Fairly drinkable overall.
