Can. A clear, pale golden beer topped by a dense, white head. The aroma is weak, grainy, fruity and filled with cooked vegetables. Rather thin on the palate, semi-dry. Low on carbonation. There’s flavors of fruityness, some pale malts and cooked vegetabes. A rather awful one, certainly not one I’d drink more of. 120405

tfredvik (377) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2012 Very pale yellow body with a small, short-lived, white head that hardly leaves any lacing. The aroma is a bit less cloyingly sweet than other non-alcohol beers, but the disgusting sewer like notes that I found in the Estrella Galicia are also present here (But it’s not the same brewer, right?). And of course plenty of cooked vegetables and corn, but also some faint citric hints. The taste is light sweet with a non-existent finish, apart from a certain medicinal metallic feel left in my disappointed mouth. Close to flavourless, but what I pick up is very unpleasant: sweet cooked canned corn and sewer. Very light and watery body, fizzy carbonation. Another rock bottom beer from Estrella.

Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 23, 2012
0.33l can. Pours a pale golden body with a small bubbly white head that lacing down the glass. Aroma not to horrible actually. A little bready and malty with a hint of wet leafs and wet barch. Quite fizzing and lively carbonated. Tastes much the same as it smells with that typical bready malty saw dusty-thing that lacks quite much before it can be called good. The tastes just does not get my boat floating, but it’s not sinking either. After all, this is a 0% beer that I managed to drink. Oh, yeah, drank the whole damn thing did I! 13.02.2012

Can from a local supermarket. Pours a dark-hued pale yellow body with a medium foamy white head which dissipates quickly. Nose is grains, hop-extract-like grassy tones and citric hints. Taste is wort, grains and hints of citrus and cereals. Not too bad for a low alc.

Frovigalning (1456) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JAN 5, 2012
Can from Systembolaget. Poured a watered down yellow colour. Smell is packed with metall and I think I sense a wiff of day old beer that someone left at a party in the background. Taste is very watery and bland, tastes like carbonated water. No this doesn’t feel like a suitable substitute for regular ABV beer.

330 ml can. Pours clear straw coloured with a tiny fast diminishing white layer. Aroma of sweet sugar. Taste of carbonated drinking water, sweet corn, with a tiny trace of hops at the end.

330 ml can. Golden body with a collapsing white head. Weak malt aroma. Flavor has some malt and grain, but not much more. Thin body. Nothing exiting going on here, but no off flavors either. A classic mainstream NA alternative.

Can. Pale golden with a white head. The smell is a bit unpleasant. Watery, a bit sweet and with aroma of cooked vegetables. A bit nauseating.
