Commercial Description:
This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers. This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Can (500ml). Opened with a pretty wan "snick" - no pressure at all. Looks like bubbly apple juice - pale gold, clear, plenty of bubbles, a too-bright white frothy lasting sticky white head (3-). Fairly inoffensive aroma, weeds, honey, and a hint of PVC ... okay, as it warms there’s some burnt creamed corn. Taste - stale weeds and slightly soapy sugar water, no alcohol at all. Thin, pretty much flat mouthfeel, quick-finishing but leaves behind a moderately ugly harsh aftertaste. Not good.

Clear, bright gold appearance with an average size white head and little lacing. Relatively devoid of an aroma, maybe some sweet malts and a little corn. Bland, cereal-like taste. Thankfully, it was cheap.

Nice round feel to it, with a good balance between bitter and sour and some hints of sweetness, though very subtle. Refreshing.

Overall Impression: Drank a few these when I was in Spain a couple years back, and like most Spanish beer, it’s good cold on a hot day, and not really much else other then that. I’d rather quench my thirst with this then a water...

Can - 500ml. Pale blond body with heavy carbonation and a thin white frothy head. Weak malty/hoppy aroma with some bready and corny hints. Taste is boring and carries CO2 notes. Ends with a short bitter/metallic finish. Useless.

Bottle from Harvey. Thanks! Golden body with small head. Sweet and malty nose. Taste of cardboard and paper. Quite bland. Dry finish.

Had this at a Place called Ruggles Green in town. The beer selection is horrible as this was their "High End’ Euro Trash beer. This beer pours an almost clear straw yellow with no head. The nose is very mild, and i can only make out the faintest hop aroma. Taste is bland with a mild fruity flavor and it falls from there. Another over rated weak euro beer! I’ve had water with more flavor!

500ml can. This is very fizzy, almost cyclone like in the centre of a tall pilsner glass; it’s a light, light yellow colour: almost looks like ginger ale. The head is thick and white, frothy: looks nice. The mouthfeel is very light. This is a light, fairly refreshing lager. There is some grass, lemon and light bread in the aroma. I taste some grain, a mild sweetness in the malt and some light hop bitterness.
