500ml red can with a gold star. 4.6% ABV but it does say Estrella. Big white head on golden beer. Light grassy aroma tending to straw. Light grassy taste. Some biscuit notes in the finish. A bit plain but reminds me a bit of a resort beer.

0.33 l can. Golden color with small head. Malt and alcohol in the aroma. Sweetish malty flavor with alcohol and tartness typical for spanish lagers.

Barcelona, Spain. Can, 070608. Golden with disappearing head. Palate is thin and so is aroma and flavor. Some malt and corn crisps.

Pale gold that pours with a paper-thin head and an aroma dominated by corn and DMS. I sampled this out of a 500 mL can, and the beer really seemed to take on a metallic flavour from the container. Once you get past that, there’s a little bready malt but hardly any hop profile. The 10/20 for "overall impression" may seem out of place in comparison with the low scores I gave this beer across the board, but I drank a lot of it (bottled and on tap) while in Barcelona recently and found it tolerable.

Bottle: Pours a clear gold color with a light white head and nice lacing. The nose is a bit husky with some basic malt and distant hop. Fruit and musk are present as well. Toasty albeit slightly metallic flavor with a touch of crispy hops in the tail. The finish is clean. Very average and international tasting.

Bottle courtesy of Daknole. Pours a medium gold with a one finger white head. Nose is sweet grains and a touch of citrus. Taste is grain and corn with a sour lime-like finish. Corona clone? Light mouth feel. Alhambra is a much better Spanish beer.
