1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 TEJA (788) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2009
This beer have a fine white head that quickly dissapears. Aroma is small and have a small wheat aroma in it. The color is light yellow like most lagers. Taste is clean with litle malt and no hop taste and litle bitterness. Tasted no errors and was good to a sea food buffe but not to the pepper steak.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 rampmaster (642) - Alden, New York, USA - JUL 20, 2009
Presentation: It was poured from a brown bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a bright golden yellow body with very good clarity and visible carbonation. The head is light and bubblely, bright white in color and fades quickly making only some spotty slick lace.
Smell: The aroma is very light with just a hint of light grassy/floral hops and grain.
Taste/Mouth Feel: The favor has a light grainy malt with mild but balanced grassy/floral hops and a slight citrus like acidity. It finishes cleanly and fairly dry. It has a light body with a light easy drinking texture and a somewhat fizzy carbonation.
Notes: This is my first beer from Spain and it is on par with any American Light Lager Style beer that I have had. This is nice but I look forward to trying more complex for Spain.

50 cl can, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Very pale yellow with a frothy white head (probably my bad pour adding to the froth). Initial skunky aroma, once past that some sweet grains. Light body, Metallic at the sides of the chops, some heat on the finish, pretty average but certianly drinkable.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 RapeBeer (17) - Indiana, USA - JUL 14, 2009
I am always skeptical of any Spaniard beer. Or Italian beer or French beer for that matter. These are wine countries and they have no business dabbling the the art of beer. This Estrella brew was, however, surprisingly above average. It looked great pouring out and despite a slight metallic taste (which disappeared after a sip or two), had a surprisingly neutral flavor. I don’t even know, really, why these Iberians (despite the fact that the brewery was founded by an Alsatian - so basically German) even bother brewing their own beers. Leave all European brewing to East of the Rhine. Not a bad beer by any standards, but since it is an import here in the states, it’s just not worth the high price for such a midland beer.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrRoss (646) - Delta, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 14, 2009
Pouring from a nice, red 500-ml can, I received a foamy white head that was probably about one-half inch thick above a clear, straw-coloured body. Aroma was grassy/mildly hopped, and the taste was not altogether different. Mouthfeel was adequate, with a hint of sweetness in the finish. I was pleasantly surprised with this one, overall.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Strangebrewer (523) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 8, 2009
500ml can 4.6% Estrella Damn BARCELONA Cerveza. I hope I’m rating this under correct beer. Poured clear gold with lasting chunky white head. Moderate sweet veggie-hop aroma. High carbonation, grainy favour with some surprising bitterness. Malty finish with a slight metallic aftertaste.

Golden pour with white head.
A watery bitter beer with some skunk, nothing great here.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2009
2009-07-04. Crisp yellow body with a small white head. Aroma has some dry grainy malts, grassy/straw character to the hops. Modest hoppy bitterness over pale malts, bit of a grassy/straw character again. Average palate. Pretty dull. Can, from LCBO, Toronto
