blankboy (3165), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 22, 2009 Can [500ml]. Pours a clear bubbly pale yellow-gold with an average size fizzy white head. Aroma’s a bit skunky (even from a can?) along with some light grassy hops, corn and sugary sweetness. Watery flavour (not much flavour either) of light grassy hops, mild malt, sugar and a short, light bitter finish -- there’s nothing bad here at least. Light bodied. Aroma’s not great and the flavour’s dull -- meh. davidm (126), Melbourne, Australia Sep 22, 2009 Bottle. Just another boring pale lager. Light floral aroma. Sweet taste with a bit of redeeming bitterness at the end. Palate is thin and watery. Yellow in colour, with a white lasting head. Fratto (670), Arlington, Texas, USA Sep 19, 2009 Bottle. No smell. Bitter. Apparently Spain is worse than Mexico in terms of brewing. thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 16, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light yellow-orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was malty astringent and grassy. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The off-tasting semi flat flavor contained notes of malt and soft hops. A horrible one that I would not buy again. armando629 (954), Budapest, Hungary Sep 15, 2009 Draught at a pub, called Bakabaka Cave at Santa Ponza, Island of Mallorca. Poured golden with a minimal but delicious head. Bready malt aroma with a light sourish yeast, fine moderated hop taste.. Correct flavor of a lager beer with bottom yeast character, balanced hop. Not an exciting one, but correct beer. jhliesen (403), West Melbourne, Florida, USA Sep 13, 2009 Bottle-Not half bad. Skunky aroma with a small base of hops. Pours with a foamy head and a medium amount of carbonation. The taste included some malts, easy drinking. Decent enough.
Produce place, 1.49 gilvanblight (390), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Sep 12, 2009 Great name. Very pale pour with a ridiculous head. Hoppy scent immediately upon opening. Musky skunky. Not a bad flavour at all. I’m surprised and impressed. Some body too it. Still a ’euro pils’ but a nicer one. JediMindTricks (240), Hampton, Virginia, USA Sep 3, 2009 A surprisingly refreshing lager. Crisp., slightly malty with a bitter finish.
