COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers. This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Golden, not much head. Aroma is hoppy and also brings some toffee. Has a mild flavor. An ordinary lager.

Enjoyed on draught in Barcelona. Classic lager appearance. Sort of a sweet malt taste with a touch of bitterness/dryness on the end. Not very good buy enjoyable and refreshing on a hot day.

Golden, small head. sweet metallic aroma. Fizzy sweet and watery flavour. Bland finish with some unpleasant hopnotes.

Believe me, I´m spanish. This is not the best beer in my country. It´s a bad lager and is even worse if you try it from the bottle. It was better a few years ago but they changed it to fit in the german laws of beer and sell it in other european countries. If you come to spain try Ambar, Mahou or Cruzcampo rather than Estrella.

Nice head, golden color, laces, grainy, hoppy but very light and forgetable after a sip. Nothing special.
