This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers. This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Someone said they couldn’t give a damn when I bought this. Well, I thought, that sounds sensible given that I handed readies over for it. This is a reasonable lager that doesn’t give me a great deal of excitement. Damm.

Crisp up front followed by a long dose of bitters. Very enjoyable beer. What is a "Damm".

A pale golden beer with a fine dense white head. The aroma is sour as if it has been brewed on brewing cereal. The flavor is just like the aroma - dominated by the use of brewing cereal with slight notes of straw. This is a bad example of an international lager.

25cl bottle: Straw yellow with a thin bubbled white head. Skunky aroma with a bit of plastic. Fizzy mouthfeel. Not a pleasant beer.

Light golden in color with a medium white head.High carbonation.Aroma of stale hops and mild skunkiness.Sweet and grainy with some corn character.Finishes bitter, thin, and dry.I'll never forget that this was the beer that I traded my body for...never again!

Another Spanish classic lager. Also served extremely cold. Easy to drink, neutral and boring.

On tap, and canned, in Barcelona. This is a reasonable Spanish lager, certainly better than Cruzcampo, and probably San Miguel too. It has some flavour, and manages to maintain a hint of all important bitterness, which adds refreshment -and after all that's what it was invented for.
