This one sports crisp, bready malts; spicy hops; and a relatively vigorous palate. It’s better than it needs to be for a run-of-the-mill national pale lager. Let’s not lose sight, this isn’t "good beer," to be sure, but it gets the job done.

Prima pilsener. Lekker pittig, oftewel een goede hop- en graansmaak. Verfrissende pilsner, niet te zoet.

Gold and frothy head are the highlights. Otherwise tastes of little and goes down easily.

0.33 l bottle at ’Moll Vell’, best before September 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, fluffy, white head. Sweetish, grainy and a bit grassy aroma of straw and grains. Sweetish-malty, moderately grassy taste of straw, grains and some bread, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite grassy and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

On tap in a common pub in London, UK - Color: clear golden blond beer with small carboantion and small white foam. Smell: malt, caramel... Taste: light body with standard malt taste... High attenuation... nothing. Aftertaste: forget it.

Schönes Gold im Glas, nicht zu hell, stabiler Schaum. In der Nase malzig, maischig, im Trunk malzig, leichte Süße, hinten bitter. Hohe Drinkability, gut für ein Industriebier.

Bright pale yellow color with a small cloud of fat bubbles. Faint frothy white 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with faint lacing. Flavors of skunk, roasted sweet grains, corn and syrup. Slick medium body with excessive prickly carbonation. Light finish with a short lingering thick syrupy feel, roasted malts, and faint noble hops. Overall this is crap. Watery flavors, too much sugar and low quality ingredients. Not fresh and flat. Boozy smell and filled with bad corn. The mouthfeel is slightly better than the average adjunct.

I had it from the bottle. The taste is caramel malt, corn, and grain. It’s sweet but still pretty crisp and refreshing. This was better than expected. This is better than the average pale lager.

Estrella pours a standard lager yellow body with decent carbonation and a thin white cap. Aroma of grain and barley some metallic notes as well. Flavor was similar to the aroma with the metallic bite fading quickly and grain/ grassy flavor taking over later. Overall a pretty standard beer, probably tastes better in Barcelona. Bottle and draught. Clear pale golden colour with a decent head. Aroma is malty, paper-ish, OK but, as with most lagers, not really amazing. Flavour is malty and sweetish, quite nicely balanced, lacking a bit of complexity but otherwise fine. Body is medium, thin texture. There are worse lagers around.
