This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers.

This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time.

Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Essentially the Spanish version of Bud -- well, really somewhat better. Ubiquitous throughout the country, much like Bud/Miller et al in the States. Not great, just a typical ’Spanish standard’ lager, with a little bit of flavor and too much carbonation. Do yourself a favor -- when in southern Europe, drink red wine (especially vino negro in Catalunya). It’s cheaper, usually much better tasting, and is often made on the premises. Remember, the point of vacationing in Europe is to *escape* American culture, not partake of imitations.

Tried every format repeatedly. Don’t trash talk the battle beer of Barcelona. It’s light and nearly flavorless, maybe a slight taste of barley or maize. Very light bodied. It’s refreshing and enjoyable on a hot day. It’s a consistent, mass produced beer and as long as it’s cold and fresh I never think it’s unpleasant tasting. Nearly interchangeable with sparkling water. Maybe slightly worse than sparkling water but it does contain alcohol.

Great refreshing beer. Not sure what all ya smokin, you probably getting old ass bottles or your taste buds got destroyed by obscene amounts of hops and alcohol. Don’t get me wrong I love IPAs but this is a great refreshing beer. Better then shit Budweiser or some Coors. Educate yourselves before giving bad review.

Pours an apple juice color from a bottle, sweetbread and rice pudding aroma and flavor, but in an almost sour skunky way, not a comforting way. Flavor is similar, very sweet. Nope.

BOTTLE 25 CL. Clear yellow-golden, very creamy head. Dusty mealy cereals and sweet pale malts, light grassy and lemony hops. The body is quite solid. Could have been a good lager, if it wasn’t for the slightly harsh gluey/alcoholic industrial bitterness. Still, quite decent.

Cervesa daurada i transparent amb escuma blanca i abundant. Aromes pobres de gra i palla. En boca es similar amb tocs de blat de moro i una mica aigualida. No m’agradat massa.

Robe jaune clair, la mousse ne tient pas. Arôme légèrement malté. Presque rien en goût, un peu résineuse. Texture aqueuse. Autant boire de l’eau...

330 ml can bought at CitySuper in Habour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.

Clear light golden yellow colour One-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Very good sticky lacing with quite fizzy carbonation; Slightly pungent smell of malt, with honey, strong floral, grain alcohol, sugar, thin lemon and grass; Medium sweet taste of fair malt, with strong grains, barley spirit, molasses, very dry bread, very light lemon, light bitter hops and light strawy grass; Mid to light body. Thin but slick palate; Mouth feel is fair maltyness in a quite watery background. Free of rice taste but has nagging, omnipresent barley spirit so typical of Japanese macro Happoshus. Dry-ish, okay sweetness. Low-bow lemon to round. Iffy… Hoppiness is strong floral, thin lemon and grass in nose. Very light lemon and strawy grass in taste; Bitterness is lightweight for an abrupt, light astringent grain-spirit finish; Dry after taste. Fairly easy to mouth.

Comments: Got to say this is slightly better than the ricey and sweet Estrella Damm 4.6% - but barely just. Its maltyness seems stronger and less sweet, but the dry barley spirit taste should have not existed to a regular lager. Drinkable with caution, these Damm stuff are basically just… Dammed.

Bottle in wine glass. Tastes like some very light beer in which spaghetti has been macerating.

Jasne zwykłe piwo, bez smaku, wodniste, nic się nie dzieje. Aromatu w zasadzie brak.
