Essentially the Spanish version of Bud -- well, really somewhat better. Ubiquitous throughout the country, much like Bud/Miller et al in the States. Not great, just a typical ’Spanish standard’ lager, with a little bit of flavor and too much carbonation. Do yourself a favor -- when in southern Europe, drink red wine (especially vino negro in Catalunya). It’s cheaper, usually much better tasting, and is often made on the premises. Remember, the point of vacationing in Europe is to *escape* American culture, not partake of imitations.

Aroma: malty and honey, some floral notes. Appearance: clear straw color, nice head. Taste: low bitterness (some herbs), floral notes, a little bit honey, quite watery and empty. Palate: low body and high carbonation. Overall: Poor honey lager.

On the tab in Cambrils! Always good to drink a fresh Estrella in hot weather. Therefore very difficult to rate, and maybe subjective, in these circumstances. Nice golden color with no much head. Rate aroma is mt. The taste is waterish and refreshing, all good for the summer. A good one for a lager!!

Mal producto, mal sabor y peor resaca. Una cerveza sin alma y que además teme y crítica a la buena cerveza.

Although the close relatives of this Mediterranean beer are all watery and bland and this beer also points in that direction, this beer has a little more mouthfeel and is a little more creamy than the rest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ni de llarg la millor de les industrials, bona imatge i bon marqueting. Poca atenció al producte.
