COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers. This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

The 5.4% Spanish equivalent to the 4.6% stuff that is retailed over here. The main difference I find with the fairly high alcohol versions of the Spanish beers available in Span is that they have a distinct heaviness to them, and a lot of ’corn’ taste. This one is no different. It tastes best when it is served ice cold, but tends to get sickly and sticky as it warms up.

Ok the can has a nice satin finish. Beer pours a very pale yellow and is very fizzy. Aroma is very mild, but not good. Generic bad lager. Taste is not good. Corny, soapy, unhappy. Why am I drinking this?

0.33l can. Clear yellow color. Totaly watery beer, not worth to rate. Aroma and taste was disgusting.

Tap at the Skylark, LHR T1, 03/05/13. Clear pale golden with a good sized white head (the latter descriptor turned out to be the most pleasing aspect of this beer!). Nose is grain, cereals, straw, faint citrus. Taste is pretty much the same. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation, crisp and dry in the finish. The blandometer is running high on this effort !

Pours clear pale gold with small white head. Aroma is grass and citrus. Taste it’s sweet with crisp clean finish. Better then expected.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Grainy, minimally strawy and flat bitter hoppy aroma. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, grainy, slightly bitter hoppy overtones; in the finish slightly soapy and metallic.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured golden clear small white head. Grain and yeast are predominant on the nose mixed in with some light malt notes. Taste is also cereal/grain and malts. Is crisp and refreshing lager, but nothing really great about it.

Pale golden color, medium white head. Dry light malty aroma with some notes of grain and corn. Taste is similar, quite dry with mildly bitter hoppy finish. Watery body and medium carbonation. Overall OK pale lager, refreshing.

Pee-yellow appearance. Small head and very little lacing. Mildly pleasing aroma of grassy hops and honey popcorn malts. Tastes like a more interesting buttery and hoppy version of Stella Artois. Passed it on to someone else for a sip, and that person agreed whole-heartedly. Great lawnmower beer. Very drinkable and decent pale Euro lager.
