UPDATED: FEB 12, 2012 Bottle. Yellow colour with a white head. Flavour and aroma are just the way any other pale lager use to be. So I can not write anything interessting about this. Easy drinkable in the sun

Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Slightly sweet aroma backed by grassy hop. Orange tinged gold color with a white head that was DOA. Somewhere between thin and medium in body with lots of frothy carbonation. Flavor is interesting. Other than grassy hop it seems neither here nor there - not pale malt like most lagers, but not quite caramel. Possibly there is some floral hop mixed in here. It’s very drinkable, and certainly nothing like so many sad pale lagers. It’s a non-bitter, but tasty, respectable player in this regretable style category.

This is beer enjoyed my my son on his walk to Composteela in 2007. He wanted me to try. It had a frothy ,airy head with a very clear straw color. The lager is a very ordinary. I detect some malt and hint of hops. It is a good lager for foootball games etc.

Nice head, golden color, laces, grainy, hoppy but very light and forgetable after a sip. Nothing special.

Clear light gold - moderate carbonation - minimal head - honey, toasted grains, grassy hops in the nose - a bit of surprising alcohol presence - fairly full-bodied for the style - medium dry and moderately bitter - bitterness is floral and herbal at first, but it becomes kind of soapy through the middle and the finish - weak malt base allows the alcohol to become way too evident - lingering soapy bitterness in the finish - meh.

(Rating #2827)

On tap, and canned, in Barcelona. This is a reasonable Spanish lager, certainly better than Cruzcampo, and probably San Miguel too. It has some flavour, and manages to maintain a hint of all important bitterness, which adds refreshment -and after all that's what it was invented for.
