This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Clear, bright gold appearance with an average size white head and little lacing. Relatively devoid of an aroma, maybe some sweet malts and a little corn. Bland, cereal-like taste. Thankfully, it was cheap.

Bottle, 4.8%. Clear golden colour. Big white head. The flavour is grainy, quite dry. Not so exciting.

Pours light yellow, light head. Light aroma of honey, taste of apples and wheat. Thin, refreshing mouthfeel. Nothing exciting, but not bad.

Bottle. Thin light gold pour with a thin foamy head. Nose-sweet corn macro. Taste-corn flakes, lots of ricey corn adjuncts, wet cardboard, light pepper. I clean but thin macro that is slightly hay/honey sweet. Drinkable but so is ice water and Diet Coke.

Bottle. Stamped 07/08. Poured a medium golden color with a larger sized slightly off white head. Aromas of grains, lighlty skunky, and grassy. Tastes of the same with some honey sweetness. Yep, it is a Pale Lager...

Canned, 0.5l. This was the first beer I bought in Spain, and boy was I dissapointed, I never expected much, but this really wasn’t nice, plain, it was, but after a few sips it turned bad, the corn (I think/hope) really got through, and left me thinking whether I should’ve done something better with the money I spent, like, throwing it in the sea. But it might’ve been just a bad can, since a friend of mine claims it was great. Well, +1 point for that. After drinking that, I was unwilling to buy the damm n/a, and Xibeca (because I was unwilling to buy a 1l bottle of something that might be bad), even though I saw them everywhere.

Not much nose...straw with a hint of gold. Little skunky, did not have a very clean taste for a pilsner. Not very special...

Draught, Ryders Bar. La Duquesa, Spain. Drank this to be polite after having been unwillingly bought a pint, surrounded by dodgy looking brits. As lagers go I suppose its not the worst. Not much of note happening in any department, but it falls into the just about drinkable category. Grainy with a dryish finish. The commercial description is pretty laughable really.
