Medium white head. Yellow body with carbonation. Very little aroma. Taste is bitter and buttery with notes of corn. Metallic aftertaste. Generally low on taste. (0.33l bottle.)

Can [500ml]. Pours a clear bubbly pale yellow-gold with an average size fizzy white head. Aroma’s a bit skunky (even from a can?) along with some light grassy hops, corn and sugary sweetness. Watery flavour (not much flavour either) of light grassy hops, mild malt, sugar and a short, light bitter finish -- there’s nothing bad here at least. Light bodied. Aroma’s not great and the flavour’s dull -- meh.

Bottle. Happily this beer is now available in Norway, as we lack have too few different pale lagers to chose from. It pours a clear, pale golden body with a dense white head. The aroma is fruity, with a malty background, and it is quite weak. Surprisingly malty flavor for a Spanish pale lager, but I poured it at a quite high temperature, which makes it more interesting to drink. There are hops in the flavor as well, giving it a quite pleasant fruity twist. It has a medium to thin body and a finish balancing malt and hops. Quite nice for a Spanish lager, but I am not buying more of them. It is not that good. (070608)

330 ml bottle. Brilliant yellow/golden color. Thin, near-white head leaving laces. Cereal and barley-grain to the nose. Bready and slight citric flavors. Low hop level. Slim body. Crisp finish. Not bad, mediocre.

12oz bottle from BevMo! Mission Valley. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Nose and flavor were mostly corn and sweet malts, better than your average pale lager.

Rating #518, bottle from Rema 1000

Yet another pale lager, and allthough I’m not fond of the thought about spanish beers, let’s try it anyway. Well, it starts out nice enough. Light yellow as any pale lager, but a more stable head than I’m used to from these pale macros. Aroma is quite weird and indistinct; only some oatmeal and wet malts. Flavor is sweet, sweet malts, a bit alcohol. This is indeed a sweeter pale lager than I’m used to, and it’s not that bad. Soft palate, medium thickness. As I stated in the beginning of this rating: Yet another pale lager.

Pours clear with a tint of yellow, head of soapy bubbles that leaves a small rim, Wife says it smells like Corona, I say some sort of chemical cleaner. Tastes a lot better than it smells, a crisp macro lager that is smooth and refreshing, however not very different from any number of beers. Light bodies, goes down easy, nothing impressive.

Can. Dull golden body with a tall head. Malty herbal aroma. A typical grassy lager with a slightly muddy taste in the mix. There is some bitterness in the aftertaste.
