COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is the jewel in the crown of Damm’s century-long beer-brewing experience. Since 1876, when Alsatian August Kuentzmann Damm founded the company bearing his name, numerous generations of master brewers have perfected this lager until it has become a landmark in the world of beers. This lager beer with a universally appreciated character and taste is ideal for drinking at any time. Its high quality is due to the finest selection of raw materials and the meticulous brewing process. It stands out for its creamy hops-flavoured froth and refreshing taste.

Neutral flavour, but the finish has a very unpleasant bitterness with a chemical touch.

Tastes exactly like Old Style or PBR. Not much else to say really. Maybe a little more carbonation & bitterness than most of the American Macrolagers, but that’s all.

330 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a gold color with a white head. Aroma of malts and corn. Flavor is way too harsh with malts and a very light hop harsh palate. Drinkable, but just barely.

POurs the colour of Piss. Sweet skunky aroma. Very dull, uninspired. When I drank the Estrella Damm all I could think is "Damm!" That’s Bad!.

11.2 oz bottle into mug. Wow this is a stinky beer. Has that pungent skunk odor that so many Euro lagers have, which is strange considering the brown glass. You know you’ve got a hold of a crappy beer when a brown bottled beer is skunked. Also quite grainy in the nose. Appearance, on the other hand, is pretty good. Pours a clear pale gold with a thick rocky head that leaves some surprisingly good lace. Bubbles are a little too big, though. Taste is hay, metal, cotton candy and sulfur. Maybe it’s Dammed? Very bad. My joke and the beer, that is. Higly carbonated and thin bodied. Watery. I only bought this so I could get Spain on the map. Won’t be buying it ever again I can say with some pretty good certainty!

Can, pours pale yellow with a white head. Run-of-the-mill piss lager here. Could barely finish it.

Had this at a Place called Ruggles Green in town. The beer selection is horrible as this was their "High End’ Euro Trash beer. This beer pours an almost clear straw yellow with no head. The nose is very mild, and i can only make out the faintest hop aroma. Taste is bland with a mild fruity flavor and it falls from there. Another over rated weak euro beer! I’ve had water with more flavor!

Appearance: clear golden straw. No real head, just a thin film clinging to the center. Swirls with a thick head which disappears almost immediately. No lace.
Nose: it pains me to say this but…it smells like beer. Husked old grains, white bread crust, and golden corn in the back which brings to mind dry cornbread. Lemon seltzer.
Palate: soft and light mouthfeel with faint flavor notes in the middle and a hard acrid finish. There is a plastic waxy lemon skin quality to it, especially in the end, which tastes nothing like real fresh lemon skins and essence. Hits top of tongue hard with dry corn kernels and stale bread.
Final Thoughts: damm that was horrible.

Clear pale yellow. Big head that dissipates unevenly. Very little aroma. Taste is...unpleasant. Bitter. No sir. The Star of Barcelona must have gone nova.

Bottle. No smell. Bitter. Apparently Spain is worse than Mexico in terms of brewing.
