2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Linc (736) - Sydney, - FEB 15, 2005
Not much of a hop presence, but a mild palate with some caramel flavour and full mouthfeel. Couldn’t find anything to bag about it, just an understated lager, goes well with some "garlicky" chorizo.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 AshtonMcCobb (935) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 30, 2012
On tap. Golden with a reasonable head and steady bubbles. Nose of mostly pale malt and breakfast cereal (soggy cornflakes). Taste of gentle honey and malt with just a touch of something herby lemon to clean it away on the end. The palate is light throughout but at least it is refreshing. Overall, I’ve had worse lagers.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 a_cross (50) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - MAY 29, 2012
Pale yellow; starts out with the usual malty sweet med lager taste, but in its favour it has a relatively full mouthfeel and a slightly dry finish with some detectable hops; not the worst of its kind but still far from good.
1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 teorn88 (740) - Rimini, ITALY - MAY 28, 2012
On tap at Il Camino, London. Pours a pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma of skunk and grain. Decent body with some sweet malt and a grain ending. Riverpour, and the river got offended.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 erickok (1074) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2012
Served very cold, and probably for the better. Standard pale lager aroma, bit more malty maybe than normal. Light bitter and quiet refreshing taste. Heavy carbonation. Just okay but definitely not the worst pale lager. (33cl can)
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20 jimthechap (799) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 26, 2012
Not a great deal of colour to this beer. In fact similar lack of colour as the Tsingtao Gold I had this morning. Fine bead of carbonation and a rocky white head. Not much of a discernable aroma either. Tastes cool and of very light malt flavours. No finish at all. To be fair, this is more of a time and a place beer I think. Better suited to a sunny afternoon in Valencia watching live Formula One than a balmy evening in New Zealand before a roast pork dinner. In its favour, it is sessionable, certainly.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 stimulo69 (10) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2012
Big brewery pilsener, with maybe a hint of bitterness more than most Spanish other big ones.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 visionthing (532) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 21, 2012
50cl draught. Golden with a nice white head. Lightly malty aroma with fruits and just a hint of citrus. Slightly sweet and malty with some bitterness in the finish. Better than I rememer it from bottles and cans. (2012-05-20)
2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 wimpyjoe (491) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2012
Nice and refreshing, especially on a hot day as it often is in Spain. Decent carbonation makes this beer look good.
1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 DarkSong (248) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - MAY 18, 2012
It pours a straw yellow color with a huge white head. It has a skunky aroma and smells a little of grain. It has some hop bitterness and tastes a little skunky and has a cereal taste with maybe a slight tropical fruit taste. It’s refreshing and easy to drink but nothing special.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 kevnic2008 (1701) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAY 11, 2012
Just another mediocre quality lager. No valid reason to drink this at all .
