RunDWP (112), San Jose, California, USA Mar 23, 2008 Bottled. Poured a pale yellow, with a fizzy, quickly dissipating head. Couldn’t detect much hops, yeast, malt, or any other taste one normally associates with beer. A little grassy perhaps. Slight metallic aftertaste plus high level of carbination means it didn’t go down smooth. Have tapas with something else.
Foxbush (346), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 22, 2008 This is beer enjoyed my my son on his walk to Composteela in 2007. He wanted me to try. It had a frothy ,airy head with a very clear straw color. The lager is a very ordinary. I detect some malt and hint of hops. It is a good lager for foootball games etc. screwball (677), Motala, Sweden Jul 20, 2008 Bottle. Golden body. Citrus and hay in aroma. Flavor is some hops. Quite smooth. To watery. dkachur (643), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville, best by 03/09. Straw color with a three finger fizzy head. Average retention, longer than expected, and little specks of lacing. Very visible carbonation. Grainy aroma with some grass and subtle citrus hops. Taste is very similar, though slightly more hoppy. Nice pale lager. Adenila (596), Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Classic pilsner look and all in all just another avarage pale lager. The hobs seem abit better than the usual though. hellbilly (796), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2008 i honestly bought this because it had a star on it and it was cheap... BB 09/08. clear pale yellow pour with a soft white head. it’s brief and somehow leaves behind some light drippy lacing. faint aroma... yeast, grass, lemon zest, earth and a mineral quality akin to pennies. the flavor has a distinct fruitiness to it... not sweet though. it’s actually quite dry and well balanced. pretty limited flavors... yeast, grass, pale malt and a lightly spicy dry finish. medium body with a light crisp mouth feel. it’s not bad. there’s nothing off... just watered down.
