Pours pale straw with a white head. Nose of barnyard, some malts. Little aroma, can pick up some general malts, some sweet, with a backdrop of bitterness from the hops. Light bodied.

Bottle to half-pint glass (shared by DrSilverworm). Best by date is July 2013, so we’ll see. Looks decent; a transparent golden orange with white head that dissipates into bubbly lacing pretty quickly. Smells of dough, lager yeast, and a bit of hops. Tastes like it smells, but less hops. Average (at best) on the palate. Forgettable, but drinkable.

11.2oz bottle from Party Town. Split with b3shine and DanielCoor. Best before july 13... Great. Clear orange amber color. Thin white head. Dots and ropes of lace. Kinda of funky basementy smell. Light caramel, wet bread. Moderate sweet taste, light to bigger bitter. Smooth soft lighter carbonation, lightly soft. More dry finish. Decent amber lager, especially for being quite expired.

Skunky malty aroma when you crack the cap so its got some promise. Upon closer inspection it smells like caramel in an ashtray so this beer = fail. It’s pale caramel in color with a few traces of white foam. Fortunately the flavor is better than the aroma but only by a few nanometers. Watery and tasteless are the rules here. Way to go team!

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2014 É uma cerveja leve e despretensiosa. Ótima para os dias quentes. Uma boa alternativa, quando gelada.

330 ml bottle bought at Aeon in KCP, Kowloon City.

Golden yellow color; Near zero head and residual white foam which last for about 10 seconds; No lacing with slight carbonation; Slightly pungent smell of malt, with slight grains, bread, lemon and light grass; Near zero sweet taste of malt, with light grains, strong bread and dough, very light lemon and faint grass; Close to light body. Thin, very dry and crisp palate; Mouth feel is surprisingly un- macro, with strong malt, no sweetness, low grains, very dry akin to Asahi Super Dry – perhaps more so - and very bready and doughy. How about that! Hoppiness is very light lemon and faint grass in nose and taste. Some shades of bitterness but because that’s no sweetness so that’s okay. Just dry bready finish; Very dry after taste. Easy, fulfilling and crisp to mouth.

Comments: Talk about shocker and this is one of those. It has all the niceties of an ideal Pale Lager - lean, dry, clean, bready, nice to mouth, no bad after taste - it has all and then some! So dry it’ll make Asahi Super Dry nervous, so doughty it’ll put many macro Premium Lagers to shame. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

Bottle at Barrafina. Not half bad by any stretch. Actually quite clean and slightly refreshing. I could have it again which is more than I can say for the Alhambra they had
