Estrella Galicia has very little to no aroma. The color is golden with a white head. The taste is slightly bitter but overall light with a weak finish.

Pale golden with a big-bubbled, fluffy white head. Delicate aromas, slightly lactic with light hopping. Mild flavor with burnt woodsiness and an herbal hop finish. Nothing special.

Sampled from bottle, ’enjoyed’ with tapas at The Hill, STL. A simple continental lager that should only be enjoyed with food and not drank for the simple pleasure of enjoying a good beer. Nicely bitter subtle traces of noble hops in the aroma and flavor. Decent malt backbone gives this light-bodied lager a bit more complexity. Moderately carbonated, at best with a pretty clean finish.

Tastes strange. Funny aftertaste. not one of the better spanish beers. Unless you like that funny aftertaste, that is...

not bad, but really light. I wonder if it has aything to it being a pale lager. some malts little hops really smooth and refreshing. Golden in color with a thin white head.

Clear, light gold appearance with a small head and surprizingly good lacing. Aroma had a mild maltiness to it with a hint of corn. Bland, but no off flavors in the taste.

SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 2, 2005
25 ml bottle purchased in Geneva. Poured clear dark yellow with a small and rapidly diminishing white head. Very faint aroma, lightly sweet and grainy - like corn flakes - with a barely detectable floral hoppiness. Flavor was just plain bad, watery with a mild sweetness, but predominantly tasted like wet, metallic cardboard with an astringent woody finish. Light body and agressive carbonation. Not good...

12 oz bottle. A nice beer to start the evening off with, even if you’re not into plae lagers. Color is cloudy straw with a very short lived head. Taste isnt too bad though, some sour corn but then it seems to corret itself out or my palate got used to it. Nice use of malts, so it’s got that goin for it. Theres just a faint metalic taste but it’s worth overlooking.
