3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I am going against the grain here by stating that I enjoyed this beer. I found it to be well presented in the glass as most beers tend to be but the nose and flavour were surprsing. Goodmaltiness and a real crispness that surpassses most of the Euro pale lagers. Subtly dry in the finish and the sort of beer that would be a welcome accompaniment to a barbecue or some fresh shellfish.

Bottle. Poured a small sized white head, sparse lacing, fine-small sized bubbles, cloudy, carbonated, and a straw yellow hue. Malty, hoppy, sweet aroma. Flavor was malty. Tingly mouthfeel. Light body.

Just a regular lager.,.. from Spain. Hoppy, lots of carbonation. Not much malt. Light, refreshing, if you like Bud/Coors/Miller you can drink this and pretend you like real berr... hell it’s from Europe isn’t it?

Yes presentation is fine but it doesn’t get any better after that. I don’t know what selected hops they chose to put in this cos all I can pick up is the malt and the maize.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
UPDATED: AUG 11, 2005 This is a fine looking brew, but then you’re left with your basic dead skunk in the middle of the road, and it’s stinking to high heavens.

This probably tasted better for me because I was drinking it in a Tapas Bar last night. But yeah it’s not very inspiring, however you can taste the maize in it.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Blond color. Some malty aroma and bready taste, quite high bitterness. Ordinary and not particularly interesting. Sweeter than the average South European Lager.

Yep. We have a (paper bag) dry and mildly hoppy lager here. As far as adjuncts go, I’ll take the corn in this one over rice any day.
