Not sure if it’s a Lager or a Pilsner. I do know it doesn’t taste that great. Original Rating, 6/18/2016: 2, 2, 1, 1, 3.

355ml can. This is on the estery/fruitier side for a shitty mexican beer, it keeps it interesting but i would stick to a bohemia.

Pilsner? I think not. this is a pale lager. Anyway, this pours to a clear still yellow, lower than average carbonation. smell of mild skunk, watery, vague sweetness of creamed corn and flaky breakfast cereal. Taste is bland cereal, mild bitter beer-ness to it, an zip else to speak of

This beer pours sudsy and not overly clear and the head dissipates instantly but the carbonation is active. The aroma is fragrant: grainy, grassy, and faintly floral. The flavor is bready, semi-dry, and plain. There is an insufficient level of hops for this to really stand as a pilsner and the palate is light and short. That said, it’s drinkable. I suspect it bears the relationship to Modelo that something like Milwaukee’s Best bears to Miller.

A clear golden pour with a soapy white head. The aroma is terrible with heavy skunk and wet dog. It has a light watery body with average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a quick, clean finish.

Clear 12oz bottle into a Corsendonk badged tulip on 12th May 2016 in Southern California. Clear light golden body, white head left before it arrived leaving a thin collar and a wisp on top. Corn like taste and smell with a mini citrus/lemon trace left by a dirty flannel. Initial thoughts were "this is not too bad", second thoughts were "this is not so great", nearly had to drain pour after half the bottle as it began to deteriorate as my palate got used to the coldness and true flavours. Poor.

Barreras (1506) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - MAY 8, 2016
Pours a light yellow color with a skunky corn aroma. Taste is light, corn flavor with an easy drinkability. No distinct aftertaste. Typical light beer, with no flavor.

Drank right out of the bottle. Has a slight skunky aroma that carries over into the taste along with watered down light beer. Easy to just chug them down. Not something I plan to buy again.

Bottle from Kroger. Clear golden-yellow with quickly fizzling out whitish bubbles. Aroma of sweet corn-ness. Taste is watery corn-ness. Light bodied. Really it's obviously of the lowest quality, but somehow doesn't sport the worst of the expected flavors.

The lack of a funk in the aroma is one of the only decent things about this beer. A thin metallic flavor, with a bad buttery finish. Gross stuff.
