UPDATED: JAN 30, 2006 I don’t know who called it beer, but it’s the closest thing to water I have taste only after Budweisser.

Horribly skunky aroma. Grassy aroma. Medium thin body with moderate carbonation. Some hint of hops in the finish. Pretty bad.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle 12/02-Pours a clear yellow with a decent head. Aroma of malt, sweetness, and grass. Taste is of the same. This light bodied brew was not as bad as I was ecpecting.

1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle courtesy of Butters. Clear pale golden body with a medium frothy white head. Bit of a skunked aroma, some grain, a bit of malty hints. Light grainy flavor, some malt, and a bit of grassiness. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Boring pale gold body with average carbonation and a thin white creamy head. Smells like a wet luchador mask, and tastes like carbonated water. Finish is non-existent. Typical watery Latin American Lager.

Can. Found this in Andorra strangely enough. Another sub-standard, exported pilsener.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Puento Aventuras, Mexico. Pours a beautiful gold with a lively carbonated body. Aroma was skunky at first, but said skunkiness settles nicely into a honey/hops aroma. Flavor is muted hops with a slight corn syrup tint. Watery mouthfeel. Good on a Mexican beach, not so much elsewhere.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
Why oh why are beers still bottled in clear bottles? After I cracked this one, it smelled like a skunk just took a piss on my nose. The beer was light yellow and as clear as the glass it came in. Head? That was nonexistent, as was the texture (aside from the lively carbonation). After the skunk subsided a little, there wasn’t much else, other than vegetables; oh, and perhaps a few wet, moldy herbs. Only a mild bitterness followed through to the finish of the torture session.

So I’m in Puerto Vallarta and this is what goes for a special not local beer. Yeah I’m trouble, its going to be a week full of liqour, sadly.’
It pours, smells and tastes like any other mexi beer. Its light gold very clear with a little of hops. Of course its easy to drink, but has not alcohol or mouthfeel.
