Tap. Nice dark gold colour with attractive head. Lots of malt, typical macro lager flavours and lack of body. Suspicious corn syrup sweetness.

I lived in Guadalajara for two years and fortunately never had to taste this beer more than a few times. Its a light pilsner similar to Corona or Sol, with no real body, a bitter aftertaste, and a forgettable palate. Try something else when in the GDL.

Bottle, Modelo beer. Served in a bottle, very light yellow colour. Not much smell in the beer, maybe because it was served in a bottle, but there are sole light grainy notes noticeable. Quite OK. Further there is a full, light grainy taste, artificial but not bad. OK, but nothing more. There is no finish.

I was actually expecting worse not my type of beer but, i think the trick in this one is that is quite refreshing and drinkable, doesnt have much of aroma of a taste but, but at least doesnt leave me with a salty or metallic aftertaste like most Mexican Macro Pale-Lagers

12-ounce bottles in a pilsner glass. Marketed in my area as Estrella Jalisco. Really terrible, tastes of alcohol even though its abv is low, not much better than a Bud or Coors.

first time i tried it , when i opened the bottle , man disguisting smell , like cow shit, awful, you can say its refreshing, the taste was like a freshwater, no real beer taste..dissapointing... not very expensive about 30 to 40 pesos, and you can get it in all mexican states, not just GDL or Jalisco.
