I think this is a verry good beer you wont find this beer anywhere else in Mexico but the state of Jalisco and primarily Guadalajara city. Light taste moderate aroma I tought it had a good flavor not too strong not too watery.

I went to Mexico (Puerto Vallarta) and we were told that they had Corona in our hotel ....So we land and are excited to drink (all inclusive) Corona’s all day, well they handed us ESTRELLA. We were so disapointed (not all from the beer) but from them telling us they had Corona ....So we saw they had Pacifico Clara and we drank that instead from which they poured from 32oz bottle into mostly plastic cups......well not all bars had it at the hotel and at times we were stuck with Estrella. About the 4th time we tried it the bartender said "you’ll should like it" etc. etc. I told him "it was watery and Corona was better". He said "Corona (Modelo he meant) makes it"........I said "ahhhhh", then he goes "there is no stunky taste to Estrella and it is meant to be drank in hot weather, it goes great with a dry mouth" (with a funny accent of course). So the beer and the hard feelings about not having Corona were getting better. Well next time we were parched we decided to get an Estrella and He put it in a nice glass and we were sold (Not saying Stella or Carlsberg or Bud or a top top beer here) but a really good and also refreshing beer that will grow fast on you. We found out after getting back to the States that you can not get it here, only the (Spanish Estrella Galica) kind = also not in TX, so we only have one 32oz in the fridge..... so the moral of this story is ~ you never truly no what you are drinking, it might end up being champange in your fridge (which to us, that 32oz is our champagne) and were saving a beer that we once refused to drink (because it was not Corona) for a speical event.............When in Puerto Vallarta have one for me !!
