Bottle @ redlight redlight. Pours hazy golden with a fizzy white head that fades to the edges quickly. Apples in many modes, a tart green apple along with a more caramel apple undernote, a little yeasty spice and some musty notes. Tart, apples, sweet, a little drying tannic note, and finishes a little musty. Nicely carbonated.

Yellow bubbly our with foamy white head and lace. Aroma is apples, paper, and straw. Medium apple flavor with sweet/sour tones at the same time. A foamy medium bodied drink. A bit of cloying sweetness in the finish that I found to be a bit appealing.

Best cider ever, that’s relative, but this was exceptional. The aroma was full of that farmhouse/ deep lambic-saison aromas. Very tart aromas. The appearance was a clear gold pour, with a bubbly white head. The flavor full of farmhouse-tart apple, green apple, and interestingly some pear or peach overtones. The feel is effervescent with a nice clean feel.

Sampled at Beerhawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. 2007 bottle. Clear gold pour. Peachy. Crazy tart flavor and almost like a lambic. Refreshing and dry finish, though I really didn’t care for this personally.

2007 Bottle. Poured golden with a fizzy white head. Tart aroma of barnyard and hints of green apple. The flavor has a little more apple standing out and is more sweet than tart. Light body yet "fuller" than any other cider I’ve had to this point. Dry texture. Very decent cider.

BeerHawk’s Beer Gods in the Boro, aka 1000 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, By God Beer God Gathering, BG1K Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to BeerHawk. 2007 vintage. Clear golden yellow with a thin fuzzy white head. Sugar aroma, candy, a bit of barnyard funk. Taste is sweet sugar, rock candy, not much apple fruit. Seems a bit plastic-y.

On tap at Ginger Man, NYC. Quenched the "hard cider" craving, but was not remotely quenching in character thanks to that uber-dry finish. Enjoyable if you want a nice hard and dry cider. Drink very cold. Disagree with other comments on sweetness- yes, it’s apple flavoured, but it definitely was not sweet compared to most other ciders (Harpoon, Woodchuck, etc).

75cL bottle from 2006. Pours clear gold with a large fizzy white head that dies quickly. Champagne-like. Aromas of slightly sour apples and band-aid/plastic. Taste is much sweeter, with the apples more pronounced. Slightly sour/tangy with a dry finish. Quite carbonated.

On tap at Ginger Man, NYC. A good, balanced, tasty, easy-drinking cider right up until the finish, which is probably the driest of any cider I’ve ever had. I understand it’s "brut’, but it would be hard to get through a pint of it without needing IV fluids.
