3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 375ml. Vintage 2010. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and with some bubbles on top. The aroma is both cellar-ish and apple-ish, with apple cores and orchard. It’s full-bodied, tart and quite effervescent, having your cheeks clinging to your teeth. It’s very tasteful, with cellar, orchard and lots of apples and apple cores, really balanced and pleasant. Lasting finish. A superb cider I’ll certainly hunt down again. 121110

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Stearns. Golden pour with a huge white head and tons of fizz. Whew, this is funky. Smoke, blue cheese, apple, and yeast. A bit of peach, barnyard, and herbs. The flavor is pretty funky as well. Lots of barnyard, some leather, and earth. Herbs, apple, blue cheese, and peach. Light sweetness, but a very drying, almost tannic finish.

Bottle at EBF08. Weak apple aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Good citric apple flavour, nice and round. Finally a cider that is not crap.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
2012 Vintage. 375mL bottle at Brouwer’s Cafe, pours a clear blonde with a large white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is wonderful, with loads of brett and farmhouse character. Flavour is funky as hell, with loads of farmhouse funk, yeast, and champagne. Wonderful stuff. A word class cider.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
2010 750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a fizzy, transient white head. Aroma of earthy, ripe - slightly overripe? - apples. Med minus body. Light carb. Flavor is earthy, astringent apple - suggests red apples. This is really drinkable. Much like a local farm cider. I’ve had one better, but just one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle corked and caged from Keg Liquor.
Poured clear yellow color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate to heavy aroma of green apple. Light to medium body with a dry texture and lively carbonation. Light sweet & sour apple flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
My expectations were met.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
(750ml 2000) Quickly dissipating off-white head leaves a hazy golden liquid with champagne bubbles rising from within. Aroma is apple/pear, wood, sour, light barnyard. Taste is light sweet up top, apple with slight pear, turns apple juice briefly before becoming much more tart, finally finishing green apple. Were it a wine, I would call this semi-sweet. My rating is based on preference much more than style, as my experience in the world of cider is extremely limited.
