A straw/golden yellow color, slightly lighter than apple juice; head immediately disappeared, leaving only a small ring of foam on the sides of the glass. Constant bubble streams. Sweet and tart apple smells, along with something kinda weird, like wet hay and plastic (but not unpleasant). Taste of tart apples, sweetness, spices. Lots of bubbles tickling the tongue with a dry finish. The first "good" cider Iíve had.

2002 bottle. This cider is off the charts, but I canít tell which direction. Aroma is a barnyard containing a small apple orchard, many horses, some male cats, and a substantial wildflower stand at the shoulder of the gravel road. The flavor adds haybarn, tackroom, and root cellar earthiness. My mind is blown. This is Rurual Memory in a Bottle. I really canít drink more than a few sips, as this is so sensually, mnemonically, and possibly microbially pungent. Damn.

Decent pour with a bitter smell. Pours a cloudy yellow, with a nasty looking scum within the bottle I lost my drinking partner on this one. All the better for me. as it was a granny smith taste with a metallic taste to finish it up. @003 vintage. By the way my friend said he should of tried this one but couldnít get past the scum in the bottle.

2009 bottle. green apples, funk, high carb/fizzy, too sweet. some medicinal off-flavors. challenging.

MicroGrog (303) - FT: Stale Polotmavż in Queens, New York, USA - OCT 21, 2009
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2013 375 served with some crazy good cod fritters. Served into a Saison Dupont glass. Clear, saturated golden hue. White ring of fizz. A couple nucleation points in the glass that easily amuse me. Smell is of baked apples, hay, sulfur, & a light green apple tartness. Bright & somewhat floral. A less muddled bottle then the one I picked up from New Beer Distributorís sweat shop factory. Taste is bittersweet upfront, slightly briny, with a rounded, zesty, & juicy center. Some drying wood tannins. Incredibly refreshing. Minor solvent finish. Light chalkiness, moderate acidity, & overactive to a slightly harsher point then champagne. A little heft to the body keeping the finish from being anything more then slightly dry. Love it. :)

Light gold, clear, fine and lasting bubbles. Medium body and flavor density, spritzy, low alcohol heat, avg length. Very sweet, balancing acidity, slightly fermented apple taste. Tasty but a bit too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

2004 vintage bottle. Poured with extreme carbonation settling to nothing. Small lively bubbles continuously came from the bottom of the glass. Brilliant yellow-orange color. I donít normally drink ciderís however, this one has been back to my fridge numerous times. Great for when you had too much beer the night before. Delicious and delicate apples and sugar in the taste. Most refreshing! I love Bouche

dankman (253) - Somewhere in, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Pours a clear orange with a huge white head that clears up as fast as it appears. Sweet noes with some funk. Borderline between nectar and brut, finishes clean, not horribly acidic considering itís a cider.

acertain (249) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 10, 2006
Pours a hazy yellow with a medium white head that quickly fades. The aroma is of apples and decomposing vegitation/ripening cheese. In the mouth, itís very dry, with a subtle apple flavor and again a hint of funkiness. Good, though drier than I prefer.
