3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2010 Tasted from a 375 mL bottle purchased in Boulder, Colorado. Pours a light hazy yellow-white appearance with a bubbly, sizable head. Aroma is strong, even away from the glass. Alcohol, apple and overall cider smell in the aroma. Light, sour, apple flavor that is more complex than the typical cheap American cider. Finish is not surprisingly dry. Interesting.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 28, 2010 375ml bottle: Vintage 2007. Poured a hazy gold with a cola like head (that was gone fast). Aroma: mild sour apple, lemon/citrus zest, spice, sweet, very funky (like a sweet gueuze). Taste: ripe apples and honey sweetness over a mild barnyard funk. Good body. Just enough carbonation. Overall: very good. The taste is very nice... but I was expecting a little more due to the aroma - aroma is more complex than the taste, but it does taste good. This is the first bottled Cider I have tried (and the first French as well), I wasn’t expecting it to be this good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml from Market street wine shop. Hazy pour. Aroma apple with slight yeast and funk. Sweet and a little thin, though complex with sweet and tart apples and a little funk. Complex but not as refreshing as I’d hoped.

Bottle of the 2009. Deep golden color. Light funky cheese and leather shot trough with pure rich apple aroma. Flavor is comparable; good acidity light tannins and a pure apple sweetness.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2010 2008 Bottle @ home
I expected a good cider, but not this good. Truly superb. Pours a lovely hazy amber/gold colour, while the head eventually fades to nothing it lingers for a surprising long time. The aroma is delightful, comprising of rich apple and woody features. The flavour and palate is perfect; wonderfully balanced from beginning to end. Will buy it again.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
750ml bottle, 2008 vintage. Pours a hazy dark gold, with a surprisingly long-lasting head, for a cider. The nose has an alcoholic background to it, with sweet apple and woody notes mingling in the foreground. It begins with a rich, deep, well-rounded feel on the palate, with complex apple flavours playing in the mouth, and hints of oaked chablis. This is truly amazing. It shows the complexity that is achievable through quality cider brewing. A delightful cider.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tart, sour, musty, shoe leather, dank apple nose. Pours murky golden with nice natural carbonation. Very little head. Funky, sweet, bacon and tart apple flavor. Smoked meat lingers on the back of the palate. Exceptionally unique and palatable. If you are accustomed to American "ciders" prepare to be taken to church on this one. Not a sugarry, malternative crap- bomb. Marvelous and enlightening.
