It’s not a special beer. Floral. Just looking good, but the taste is just a another pilsener.

Clear yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma of a regular german hell beer, quite floral. Bit watery taste. Easy to drink.

Fruity nose for a helles, clear gold color, spongy head. Sweetish malt front with a hint of apples. Much less bitter than a pils, so it really wasn’t balanced for my palate. Full body, though, but this needs more bitter for sure. OK beer, though too exciting.

Bottle from the Ettaler Monastery in Oberammergau, Germany. Poured a medium sized white head, lacing was sparse, uncarbonated, transparent, and a yellow hue. Aroma was malty and skunky. Lightly bitter flavor and malt. Boring. Smooth mouthfeel. Light bodied.

This The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 86. This bottled brew from the Ettaler Monastery in Oberammergau Germany poured a large head of frothy finely sized white colored bubbles. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and straw yellow orange in color. Its aroma contained notes of corn malt hops and dough . Its mouth feel is initially smooth mild malty with a lingering thick palate and a crisp clean smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained malty hoppy notes. A very average brew.

Thank you hotstuff and thedm for bringing this to our little ratingsession. Straw yellow with a spare head. Kind of chemical nose. Grass hay taste. Flat and stale though with cheese tones.

Clear golden colour. Nice lacey head, although quickly diminishing. Aroma was malty with hints of vegetables (peas?). Pretty hoppy, maybe Saaz Hops? Medium body. Not bad, but nothing spectacular either. Light sweetness and maltiness.

Bottled. Average size, frothy, white head. Fair lacing, mostly diminishing. Clear yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma (hay, grass, dry flowers), very light yeasty, light malty (grain, cereal), light fruity (apricot). Light sweet flavor, moderate bitterness, short duration. Herbal and hazelnut-like afterstaste. Medium to full body for an hell bier, oily texture, soft carbonation.
