Pale golden, quite stable white head; grassy-grainy nose, light bodied, light bitter flavour; short dryish bitter-sweet finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Purchased this at a Orterer Getrenmarkt in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany 30.05.12 consumed at friends Lyn & Barrys when invited to watch Ukraine v England match 19.06.12 Pours shining gold with a white head. Bit sweet initially I like the maltiness, soft in the mouth. Not sure of the abv but there is thickness and warmth that suggests that this is stronger than it probably is. Like this.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It’s warm golden with a huge, creamy, white head. The aroma has mild notes of malt, bread and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, grain, bread, flower and a little citrus with a straw feel. The finish is slightly dry. Harmonic.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hard, musky baked aroma. Clear lager color, fairly still. Dirty malt flavor, mild hopping. Easy drinking, pretty standard stuff. I would drink it, but not as a pricey import.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma of sugar cookies, apples, and yeast. Pours amber with decent carbonation and a quick head. Tastes of grassy yeast with a hint of corn bread. Nice helles.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy honey color with a full white head and good lacing. Taste matches the smell: sweet caramel malt with a touch of vanilla and clove, balanced by a light floral hops in the finish. Very good helles; light and easy drinking.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
0.5l bottle from the brewery shop, pours gold with a fast-disappearing white head, a light malt aroma with a faint hint of hops. Crisp and dry on the palate with a spritzy finish and a lingering light bitterness. Decent example of a helles.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 ml bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours golden in colour, with moderate white head. Leaves tonnes of lacing. Nice balance between noble hops and sweet malt!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle. No freshness date.
It pours a somewhat mundane gold with a lousy head. This may be a bit oxidized unfortunately. We will see.
It also smells old. Old hops, old malt. Just stale.
The flavor is also stale, but drinkable. Any hopes of noble hop flavors and aroma has fallen by the wayside.
It is a good beer at heart but this just isn’t fresh.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a golden color with little head. Faint malt aroma. Very light taste with some bitterness upfront. Also a metallic and vegetable taste. Not sure how old the bottle was. This is an average lager with a crisp finish.
